I notice Tavarish is conveniently absent from these articles that talk about actually owning an exotic and just how expensive, difficult and generally terrible value it happens to be...

Although I've not personally negotiated a dealership agreement with a manufacturer I believe your are wrong about the what constitutes a "franchise" in the auto sales business. The manufacturer dictates most aspects of their operations including the building design, sales floor decorating, placement of marketing

Actually dealerships don't have the right to sell a car for what eer they want or how ever they want if they are a franchise store. You have to agree to play by the factories rules if you want to fly their flag in front of your lot. Same reason every Subway owner cant just come up with their own pricing.

That's why you race top fuel and sit right in front of the motor.

You got it half right....

DOH! You got me. You said "shortly"

More than a year away is not "soon" by any definition. Spring would be soon. Sometime in 2016 is "a ways off" to put it more accurately.

Yeah, it's too bad shit like that would never make it our of the barn these days. Too many marketing and branding execs making engineering decisions. But, yo;re right. The tune-ability of a turbo and the aftermarket hopefully would fill the inevitable void.

I see only one problem with this....the GM powers that be would never let the Buick out shine the Caddy and as such it will get a de-tuned everything from what the ATS-V thus being somewhat of a disappointment.

Define "shortly"....

You know this from all your experience right? A 150 shot is not excessive and is nothing like "throwing dynamite in to your engine block". it's easier on the motor than a moderately boosted motor because it's only stressing the motor for a few brief seconds at a time.

Difference being, this Mustang in it's modded state is a chunk cheaper than the hellcat stock. Dollar for dollar this thing is amazing.

See my original comment where I qualified this statement by saying "Not that it needed a TT-V6 or anything"

Wait....Tavarish had credibility?

Because it just couldn't be because the thing is a rough example that's been shit kicked is it? Obviously people are always trying to sell their expensive toys for dramatically less than they're actually worth.

Yep, when market rate for an exotic is $60-100k make sure you find one that's going for less than half that because it's the most logical sensible thing to do.

I see the same missed opportunity as the FRS/BRZ...incredible platform with just not quite enough power. Not that it needed a TT-V6 or anything but 155/150 is just a tease.

You put the word "ignorant" in the wrong part of your post...should have read:

Just to upset people I'm going to toss an Olds inline 4 from the Aerotech out there...
