You have one glaring error in your statement: it takes about 30 man hours to ASSEMBLE a typical US produced vehicle. You're leaving out the hours to make the parts. Expect the total hours to double of even triple once you account for manufacturing of parts. Depending on the vehicle labor costs can be as high as 25%…
