Why all the animosity from the folks here - isn’t one of the joys of having a high horsepower car the ability to do the occasional burnout or corner drift? On top of that, I genuinely like watching the C&C videos on YT to see and hear the machinery. Who the hell wants to watch these exotic cars putter away at idle?

Newer car discovery - the passenger seat in my 16 ATS coupe identifies anything metallic left on the seat as a passengerno matter how lightweight. Cell phones, keys, etc all turn on the seat belt light, heated seats, etc.

As noted by other’s below, the insinuation that GM is creating and proposing this restrictive model on Tesla is simply incorrect. The rules that prevent direct-sales are not GM’s choice. They are simply fighting to make the rules apply to everyone. Eliminate the archaic rules and allow GM to circumvent dealerships
