People always seem to do the worst thing.  They dig in for hurricanes instead of moving out of the way of danger, and they leave during outbreaks and expand the problem.

Theory: Gamestop will close down for at least two weeks starting next Monday, but they couldn’t/wouldn’t close this near to the release of two of the biggest games of the next few months, no matter what.

“Why the fuck is it Doom getting sold a day early and not Animal Crossing.”

Oh, I’m aware of the financial and man power related (pun unintended) reasons for the lack of a feminine pressence. I just never allocated much thought to it way back when, but it was painfully obvious going back to it again.

In a way, it’s understandable why the game was such a sausage fest.

There are more trains in the Half-Life series than there are women.

I mean seriously, what can’t this thing do?

Likely story. Jason - and all of Jalopnik - has been in the pocket of Big Otter Jizz for years now.

Well when Sora left, she just had to protect Corona from potentially more Heartless infestations.

Doomguy: Exactly. You’re welcome.

Wait, why? Is that Rapunzel? I don’t recall the kingdom of Corona having much trouble with demon infestation?

Obligatory

DoomSlayer fights to avenge the death of his pet bunny rabbit Daisy.

At least once a week I forget that Deadspin was brutally murdered, beheaded, and defenstrated by that herb, Jim Spanfeller. Every time that same, stupid, headline pops up I emit an audible “fuck”.

I’m really looking forward to the nuanced take on his passing and legacy that Deadspin will post tomorrow. Oh wait. Shit.

I wouldn’t downplay the utter clusterfuck that was the wii/wii u branding fiasco though...

On one end we have Sony, whose naming scheme is a bit boring, but consistent and easy to follow. On the other you have Nintendo whose names are varied, but at least have some kind of reasoning behind the names that ties to the console’s features (except for Wii and Wii U from what I can tell).

That every previous jobs claim to get state or federal money I have seen has been overinflated and often includes temp jobs. The 25,000 jobs number likely included all the different construction jobs, cleaning crews and anyone involved in it for more than a minute while the new 1,500 jobs is likely the true permanent

What are you basing this claim on? Genuinely curious.
