All the radar did in the Pixel was enable you to hands-free shuffle through music and quickly unlock the device. It wasn’t game-changing in the least.

Simultaneously self-reinforcing and self-destroying, without a shred of irony.

Are you under the impression everyone doesn't already incorporate digital assets into their everyday life? I'm not doing a VR business meeting and if I want to see pretty nature stuff I am going to go the fuck outside

America is a vast, self reinforcing culture of malignant lunacy.

Fuck Zuck.

Same. There are some spectacular ones. here is one we rented:

Originally I was using Chrome on my phone, but it lacks an ad blocker, these sites were one of the reasons I switched to a different one (Brave) because these sites don’t load the rest of the page until you scroll down to the next ad and it’s infuriating to use, now it actually loads the whole page so I can use it

Iceland is amazing. I love it there and would move there if I could. The people are wonderful and their English fantastic. It is just a scenic and a beautiful place. Everywhere is stunningly beautiful.

That’s pretty damn good. I hope zuck’s whiteface photo is the screensaver on every computer in the facebook offices.

Icelandverse, fucking brilliant!

that woodgrain looks pretty nice actually

That’s still racism. It doesn’t have to be intentional. Racism is baked into our entire system. That’s why the term “systemic racism” was invented. There’s no changing the economic system without acknowledging the racism because it’s an integral part.

LOL says who. plenty of folks can be racist without intending to be.

Either way, the explanatory variable is poverty, not race. Of course they’re highly correlated, and there are factors specifically at play to keep racial minorities poor.

I don’t think you want to go tit for tat with my educational credentials. But even someone with a high school education could look at America and say “wow, America has a race problem.”

W. Kamau Bell covered this topic very succinctly on his show, United Shades Of America, and the episode certainly reinforces the study.

It’s as though there was a red line they could follow....

(I wish they would just read the paper)
