Ah, right. I completely forgot about that. Probably because he was running around with that wound for like third of episode. Didn’t make it look all that serious.

Do we even need to speculate as to whether the Shrike also destroyed the Chronicom homeworld? It’s blatantly obvious, right?
Maybe kissing fake Daisy will be as lethal as kissing the real thing.
I mean, Yo Yo herself forgot so
Good review of this episode, maybe even a little generous. This clunker of an episode felt a lot like it was trying to be a comic book, but one of those really middling comic book issues where they think they’re being clever and instead show every flaw of the medium. So it’s bad TV emulating bad comic books, and…
that dude erupting into crystals was some pretty gnarly shit
Yeah, no. The fact that they pretty much accidentally ran into Fitz doesn’t change the fact that Jemma kidnapped the rest of the group. Now, if they’re willing to forgive her, that’s fine, but she absolutely “did something wrong.”
Which she forgets to use when the bat-thing first started flying around and then when it took its time forcing its way down Keller’s throat. I hate that shit.
The original music by Trevor Jones was such an integral part of the movie for me, I just hope the new composer(s) are up to the challenge.
I completely agree.
*watches Daisy and Simmons trip balls in an alien casino while searching for Daisy’s dead boyfriend and his time-travelling robot friend*
If I can't Quake it I'll break it.
On the subject of a jarring clash of ideas, the suggestion seems to be of some sort of time policing going on. What might be the implication for one Steve Rogers et al?
Yeah, Jemma last week and at the start of this week was really annoying. Davis hasn’t seen his kids in months. She don’t care. All that matters is what she wants. Dick move, Jemma.
I was hoping this episode would have had Daisy finally tell off Simmons, but I have little confidence the writers actually see Jemma in the wrong.
I wondered previously if Fitz would ultimately need to return to time line “A” to serve his sentence and die via side-splitting cave-in (not the funny kind). If what we have in this - and next - season is indeed “borrowed” time for Fitz, then... I like these dramatic stakes. It might help explain Jemma and Fitz both…
I dont know what to make of this episode. Daisy and Simmons tripping was genuinely funny in a way we haven’t had for a long while but it just felt weird and out of place. And I agree that it was a weird shift given Simmons’ attitude towards Daisy earlier.
My favourite thing about that episode was that they came up with completely new uniforms for the future era scenes. It really helped sell the idea that this was farther down the timeline in a way that putting a white stripe in Data’s hair couldn’t, and it made sense since Starfleet is constantly redesigning their…
To quote Khan, “Admiral? Admiral.” I mean, not like that’s any huge surprise or anything. Heck, they made Janeway one. Arguably, Picard should have already been one by at least the second or third TNG movie. But I’ll go ahead and mention it since nobody else has.
Anyone else catch the Grumpy Cat mug on the shelf next to the Flying Pig mug the girl picks up?
