It drives me nuts that there’s a Bobbi and Hunter adventure out there that we can’t see.

That’s remarkable. I wonder if the actors get paid for this episode.

It is.

Alternative hypothesis: We know Hall was secretly contacting people before Quinn abducted him. Maybe Raina was one of those people?

I don’t know if I can link stuff on this site, here it is:

What frustrates me is that the writers of the show keep falling back on the “stupid smart person” trope.

I really love how they just went all out on bringing all the old plots and lose ends and all the characters even if it’s for a small cameo. And it’d be really heartbreaking for Daisy if Lincoln shown up so maybe he will (also I actually liked his character). But I’m, for sure, up for some more Joey. Secret Warriors

About Simmons/Daisy: Are you really trying to put that on Daisy and not Simmons? Should Daisy have locked Simmons up too? She gave Simmons sound instructions what to do and put Mack as a leader because between Simmons and Mack he had a level head about Fitz situation. What else could Daisy have done???

it is. It’s a cut scene from season 1

You are right. Jemma is really missing two issues with her thinking.

> Robin as her ward

Wait, wasn’t Joey’s ability that he could melt metal? That seems like it would work with this storyline. Plus, the actor was so charismatic with Yo-yo, but I think he has a better gig.

“It’s too bad Coulson won’t live! But then again, who does?”

“Well, once again, my life depends on a crayon drawing by a crazy person, so that’s great for me.” How did Deke Shaw become one of my most favourite things about the back half of Season 5???

See! I’m glad I’m not the only one who thought that was old footage of Raina and Quinn. Because they splice in previous footage of Franklin Hall, I assumed it was that, too.

Now I see the reason for that trope in endless time-travel stories, where the characters from the present day are desperate not to know anything about the(ir) future from the travelers from the future: They just might turn into reckless assholes.

I’m bummed that they got Ruth Negga to come back for such a bland flashback, considering how outstanding she is. I honestly thought that was existing footage from season one or two.

I don’t understand how Fitzsimmons and Elena think that they’re invincible when the end goal is to change the future.

You left out the single best part of the episode: Coulson name-checking the “Evil League of Evil.”

I like Creel a lot, and not just because he looks like an unrealistic hyper-masculine action figure brought to life. I want him to become a full-on hero.
