Fitz has an incredibly simple test:
Fitz has an incredibly simple test:
He was easily among the best guest actors the show has ever had. I was blown away by his performance.
Hot damn! It’s been a long while since I’ve been so sucked into an episode of television, honestly. Such a beautiful balance of the usual Holt/Jake dynamic with SKB’s positively unsettling guest spot. As someone who hasn’t seen much of his work (I *very intentionally* avoid This is Us) I am happy to finally see what…
This episode’s grade is so far off, it’s funny.
A Ph. D is a doctorate. It’s literally describing a doctor. No. The problem here is that medical practitioners have co-opted the word “doctor”. I know we live in a world where aaaaaanyyhing can mean anything. AND NOBODY EVEN CARES ABOUT ETYMOLO...
I know it was a small moment in the episode, but the “Jake tried to smash the two-way mirror with the chair only to bounce back in his face gag” was not only hilarious, but made me remember the other great gag of the interrogation room, where Boyle tries to smash a plate only for it to bounce up and nail him in the…
Amazing episode. I laughed so hard when Jake threw the chair, though Holt’s rant about doctors was pretty damn good too.
Really? People were anti-Andy? I know so many people who turned in (and stayed tuned in) BECAUSE of Andy (and then they stayed tuned in because of Andre, Joe, etc.).
I’m hoping this will be addressed later, but it’s weird that Fitz is so sure he had done the right thing and saved the world even though he just brought everybody one major step forward in the destruction of the world. Yeah, closing the rift was a very good thing and needed to be done, but he also gave back the powers…
Best part of this episode was the reveal Talbot is still alive.
Hot damn, it was good to see Adrian Pasdar again. Also, it was nice of the SHIELD writers’ room to give him some of the best lines.
I know the head of ABC wants to kill the show so she can make more shitty sitcoms, but take this off the air and there is no Marvel on tv. Cloak and Dagger are coming to Freeform, but that isn’t ever going to be a flagship property, and the rest is completely disconnected from the MCU. Gifted, legion, Runaways, even…
They could not have picked a better actor to play Young Jasper Sitwell. I knew who he was immediately.
Yes! Plus it had such an interesting structure with every chapter starting with someone waking up, including Daisy on her chair in the last 10 minutes. I hope the rest of the season keeps delivering!
oh, poop. Wait... Simmons was alive long enough to raise her daughter and teach her the saying about taking steps in the right direction, we’ve got some time...
I thought it was apparent that Ruby’s been raised in secret, since she’s Hydra’s love baby and was genetically engineered to lead the next generation. Of course it raises a whole host of other questions, like where Hale disappeared to for 9ish months when she was pregnant and how she’s managed to have what, by any…
Simmons were there too - just off screen. Fitz is angry at Robin for foretelling Jemma’s death but it hasn’t happen yet. Simmons was probably off screen because she was pregnant and that would’ve been spoiler back them.
Poor Talbot! :(
Regarding Daisy as leader, I think that’s the exact reason why this upcoming arc is necessary. We know what Daisy is like as a field agent: capable, selfless, and passionate. That last quality is both a strength and one of her biggest flaws. We don’t know what she’s like being in command. The question is can she use…
