I think they’re probably very hesitant to do those types of episodes now after the strong backlash against them in the 1st season. Of course it’s different now, but I’d imagine they’re still wary about it.

SHIELD is dissolved again? I know in the comic books the organization has come back and closed several times, but this is getting silly.
i also believe the Evil American Military Lady is an LMD of the Superior.
classic Gravitron
I know what you mean. As much as I love arcs and heavy continuity, they could really do with sprinkling in some monster/artifact-of-the-week bottle episodes to change up the tone/pacing and let the show breathe.
I’m still waiting to see about Donnie and Vijay. They basically sunk them both (literally) and left the door wide open for future returns, but it’s been a while now. I realize they have to play this arc out but the show dangles a lot of threads that never get snipped off completely. It drives me crazy at times.
I’m pretty sure it was “kill room,” not “Kilgrave.”
I’m so on board with Deke being Lance and Bobbi’s descendant.
how nonchalant Polly was about all of this was kinda freaking me out.
The reference that jumped out at me was when they drove up to the base and Hunter gave their names as “Peltzer” and “Futterman.” Somebody on the writing staff voted GREMLINS as Best Christmas Movie.
Prediction: Evil military lady finds/reactivates one or more of the Quake LMDs (purposefully or inadvertently) and they are responsible for the world breaking... unless stopped by our plucky, time-travelling heroes. Which is also why, even if they *were* stranded in the future, the world destruction still happened…
Not the bus, Zepher One. The bus blew up in season 2
I actually found myself quite sad that they killed Lt. Evans, I think the actress did a good job with her and made her more endearing and likable than most other military personnel we get from shows like this. The general lady who killed her however, I find far less interesting and engaging, hoping for Zach McGowan to…
But it wasn’t the Bus, that was destroyed back in Season 2. This is Zephyr One which they have been using since Season 3.
And despite the fact that alien invasions are now a matter of common knowledge in the Marvelverse (since an aliens-versus-superheroes fight smashed through Manhattan a while back), people in that universe still react to the suggestion of alien abduction as though it’s absurd. Just as they treat Fitz’s evil-robot story…
It sounds like you haven’t watched the episode yet so I’ll slap a spoiler warning here (since I don’t know how to do spoiler tags in stupid Kinja), but only Fitz went to the future via cryonics, the rest of the team went via good old-fashioned Monolith.
the best getaway pilot Hunter’s money could buy having his chopper downed instantly
There are things I like about Kinja - like editing options and embedding - but the inability to edit after 15 minutes or after someone responds is very annoying. All the typos that just have to stay there forever.
September’s cryopod looks just like my old T-Mobile flip-phone from 2006.
