The difference is that Daisy already knows that Sousa has an interest in her from what he said in the past loops. And if he wasn’t up for the kiss she probably would have stopped.

Well I meant more in terms of grasping what the time loop even is as a concept.

If we’re talking the quality of S1 it helps to put things in perspective.

Hopefully if there are any spin-offs they can get a few more locales.

I think it’s kind of a sad testament to how bad Daisy has been burned throughout her life that this dude she’s barely known being real nice had to be questioned so thoroughly. At least she seemed satisfied with the answer.

I’m impressed Sousa caught on so quick given he hasn’t seen any of the more notable shows or movies with the idea but he’s a clever enough guy.

Season 1 I definitely think has benefited the most from hindsight. Once you know where it’s all going you can definitely appreciate what they were doing a lot more. Skye (Daisy) and Ward are definitely better knowing where that all ends up and when you’ve gotten away from the contemporary snark (tho the Agent nickname

There’s speculation that Fitz could have ended up a villain at some point but I’m not sure the show would be willing to go there (especially after they just swept what happened in S5 under the rug).

Pretty well executed episode. Probably would be in the Top 10 somewhere. Everyone did solid work and kudos to Liz’ direction.

They probably didn’t have time to go over it properly and it will likely be brought up in the next episode.

Yeah, but Whitehall needed to extract A LOT from Jiaying to get the mojo to work on him and it didn’t seem he got the life-sucking power that entailed. Nathan didn’t take nearly as much.

From what we see it would appear that Cora was Jiaying’s daughter with some other dude who committed suicide (that was undone by Nathan’s inference). So in the original timeline Jiaying likely mourned her before meeting Cal and having Daisy in 1988.

SPIN-OFFS BABY! Especially since Daisy’s sister might be joining them too.

Not unless Daisy scoops him up first!

Next episode is pretty much the last shot of the evil Enoch theory being a reality. It seems odd to have Daisy be the focus of that episode and not have some revelation about the Chronicoms in there.

I mean they could still have Enver and Dichen meet up since it doesn’t look like we’re gone with the Afterlife business.

Also, speaking of callbacks I noticed that Yo-Yo didn’t have to be half-naked for her acupuncture treatment. Just saying this show has it’s mind in the gutter when it comes to a particular character.

The stuff with Yo-Yo was fine but I’m not sure how I feel about retconning her powers this late in the game. And there weren’t any real hints to her issues being related to not needing to bounce back or the psychological thing before this it feels a little nebulous.

If feel like the show had kind of fallen apart starting near the end of S4. S5-6 have some real notable flaws that are kind of baffling. S7 has definitely been a step up (tho not without problems) and hopefully it will end on a solid note.

“Is this a phone?”
