Apparently, they only learn about the times later on but the fact a time limit exists at all is something that probably should have been mentioned. Like Yo-Yo even mentions the possibility of sticking around a while and Jemma didn’t bother bringing up possible time limits.

In regards, to Daisy v Mack in regards to emotional decisions I feel like Mack can definitely be emotionally compromised at points as well (mainly when Yo-Yo is involved) so I wouldn’t say he’s necessarily a better Director for that reason. It’s just a shame so many situations they end up in have Daisy be emotionally

Got to say that as far as stories dealing with the question of whether or not we should change the past this was no Genesis of the Daleks or Terminator 2.

“take-over-Earth plan being bad is part of the plot

May is cool with me. She’s been pretty consistent tho maybe could have had a bit more going on at points.

It can’t be the same Monolith since the S3 one was destroyed under completely different circumstances. Also, didn't say Izel created them but clearly she had an association.

Yeah the Chronicoms have kind of been cribbing on the Observers a bit too much (even if their origin is apparently different). Apparently, some of the FRINGE writers are working on the show now but that still seems a bit much. And I didn’t really care for the Observers being the final boss on that show anyway since

Pretty sure this is in reference to the Terminator.

Speaking of the Monolith the show will hopefully provide an explanation for what exactly is the connection between the S2-3 Monolith that HYDRA had that whole cult around (supposedly made by the Kree) and the ones in the Lighthouse connected to Izel. There’s got a bit more connective tissue since otherwise it’s odd

I dunno. There’s some polls where Daisy ends up being the top favourite so I’d say she’s been doing pretty well.

You can just as easily point to a bunch of times Coulson has been pretty reckless himself. In fact, that recklessness is what indirectly lead to the clustercrap of a situation in S5. Could say the same for FitzSimmons as well.

They didn’t need a new planet at that point tho.

Yeah, the multiverse theory seems to be the most likely go to (and it could help offer an eventual explanation for why the AOS characters didn’t go through the Snap) but it kind of undermines the stakes of history being changed if in theory it should just create a new branch.

Also, would getting rid of SHIELD not also get rid of their means of time travel since Fitz and Simmons helped create it? And how did they get the Monolith that was presumably needed for said time travel?

Now there was word of mouth from the D23 premiere of this episode 9 months ago so I have had a bit of time to gather my thoughts but I have to ask:

Simmons has got to be up there with Sterling K. Brown as far as guest appearances go (Brown may keep the top spot definitively if Simmons becomes recurring).

I feel like the Doug Judy saga ended pretty sufficiently with the S4 two-parter and it’s kind of been diminishing returns since. At least it seems like we could take a break or if we need to have him every season maybe just have him make a cameo.

Oh yeah, I forgot.

They had the first 4 seasons (or 3 and a gas leak if you want to be snarky) on Canadian Netflix so hopefully it will show up on there again (especially since we don’t have Hulu).

even if they weren’t THE EMH i am looking for”
