Shit like this that apple pulls is just one of the many reasons no one can take mobile gaming seriously. Oh you want a full, quality game you can play ALL the time for a reasonable price? Fuck you we’re approving more Clash of Clans clones

That’s not true. We cover plenty of successfully Kickstarted games on Kotaku - we just cover them as GAMES, not Kickstarter projects. When we talk about games like Undertale or Shovel Knight or Pillars of Eternity, the fact that they were Kickstarted is just a footnote.

Not having paid attention to this game at all, I’m surprised to find out after all this hype that it’s simply a game where you jump on enemies and over pits.

say all you want, the graphics in the game blew, it does not matter if its indie it does not get a free pass

WTF. This is still confusing. So it’s like a Telltale game where you pay per chapter? F that. What could’ve been an easy preorder sale from me just turned into a “I’ll just wait for the complete edition when it’s on Black Friday sale next year.” Your loss, Square Enix.

Well thats sucks an arseload.

It’s stunning how lazy Bethesda is about patching shit. Fallout 4 has been out for how long, and they’ve released a small handful of patches that haven’t even touched the mass amount of gamebreaking bugs? I guess they know the modding community will just do it for them (unless you’re on console, then you’re SOL). I

It’s amazing how fast companies react to glitches when they affect micro-transaction revenues...

DD is the exception, of course.

Here are a couple thoughts from reading your post above.

I don’t think game delays really qualify as disappointments because they usually result in better games. Other than a few comical exceptions, we don’t remember the delays; we remember whether or not a game was any good. Next year at this time, when you’re thinking of the biggest disappointments of 2015, I don’t think

Seriously? The Just Cause games may be large, but their worlds are nowhere near as “alive” or believable as GTA’s or Fallout’s. I’m not sure you fully understand what immersion is if you’re saying JC’s worlds have it. People walking around and cars driving around do not make an immersive world.

“Well, look at you. You sexy stud. Bravo! Yes, dance for me Fahey. Dance around my wizard’s staff.”

I draw the line at Super Mario World. Fallout 3, Pokemon Gen 1, Super Mario 64, and so on I can see losing but god damn it SMW is the GOAT.

Surprise! Fallout 4 has just about the worst combination of UI and mechanics explanation of any game this decade.
