Dry Ice Cleaning Candidate!

I believe someone commented with their Volt and I can concur. I was able to go nearly a year on a single tank of gas (no adding) and about 10k miles with the Volt and just over 15,000 miles on a tank and a 1/3 on the ELR after that. The sealed fuel systems of the PHEV’s may help the “good juice” from evaporating away?

Any custom big-body lead-sled... why swap in a 350/350 and subframes when you can drop that sweet chopped and sectioned body on a rolling skateboard...

ELR is the answer. Had one and worked for a family of 4 the entire time. Once went over 15k to a tank of fuel (it ended up burning it off as it was aging) and had a lifetime “MPG” of about 90. Had a Level 2 at home and work, so unless I was travelling, was on the electricity most of the time. Great interior materials

That has to be one terrifying experience for some of the bigger hurricanes we get down here... and since all the roads go under-water, hope that Vulcan’s on an upper deck!

F DUI’ers. Particularly repeat offenders. F them in the proverbial A with the biggest pineapple you can source.

Not one, but two Mark II Continentals? Both de-evolving, but sweet.

Alfa is the answer

Fully agree. Want the PHEV 2-door in Bronco format too...

2nd gear. Questions: What happens to the 10,000+ gas stations owners (and/or oil change shops’) owners, many of which are small mom/pop operations, and employees? Most existing ones won’t be able to convert to “charging stations” easily or cost-effectively (Wawa and mega chains excluded - their stores probably derive

You are not wrong. This used to be stop one on the daily read. It still gets hit, but much less frequently. Other sites have stepped up as this one side-stepped.

Any generation Viper, but the first gen gets the highest ‘Merica factor.

What’s the value on the ‘22 Tesla he just bought? It’s probably at or more than he paid, right? So looking to pocket as much as the next one costs; like that plan. Look at a last-year Volt or if you need the “sporty,” a PHEV certified 3 series?

Unimog or Laplander. (you did say “Road” trip - not (off)Road...)

Banishment of oversized fugly grills... (talking to you BMW) Bring back meaningful noses!

I think that Jeep is supposed to resemble the “Punisher” perhaps?

I too had an i8 for a few years and it was fantastic looking - like a real-life spaceship on wheels. It was fun to drive and the electric commute and then over to “sport mode” for some fun was great until the kids outgrew it.

Anybody who espouses flattery or compliments any of the BMWs with these ugly, ugly, faces, has been under the influence of their captor for too long. You are suffering from a version of Stockholm Syndrome. Seek help.

We haven’t had any reliability issues, though, there is an active recall preventing charging currently as they work out the issue... right as gas crosses $5 of course. But other than that, zero challenges. (was surprised frankly!)

We’ve had the Pacifica PHEV since they came out; putting gas in it once a quarter has been very nice these past ~5 years! If they offered fully electric for a similar price, would do!
