you guys are writing takes about how “gross” it is that this kind of asset management simulator approach to the NBA is growing, but i don’t know. i agree with that in the abstract, but at the same time, this is really fucking fun and dramatic to witness. every day is a new twist.

Truly have no clue which of Toronto, Boston, Philly, or Milwaukee comes out of there. I wish Oladipo was healthy. The post-LeBron East is really fun!

.

The grizzlies and clippers picks they’re holding onto could become very good, particularly the Memphis one with them looking to blow everything up.

I know that, like Burneko, you really, really do not want to see another Boston team succeed, but it’s almost objective that the Celtics offer is more than marginally better than the Lakers one. Higher picks (which could be even better if AD splits in a year) and two young All-Star caliber players in Brown and Tatum.

Doesn’t this take strike you as at least a little bit naive? Rich Paul is LeBron’s agent, and his money is tied in making his primary client happy. AD wants to leave pronto, and since Boston can’t negotiate now, of course he’s going to say Boston is off the table. If you’re New Orleans, and you have a world class

Complaining about people complaining about people complaining about the game = Priceless.

No, what I’m saying is “levels of evil” is a nonsense concept.

Kroenke raped two cities to get his LA stadium built, Kraft privately financed Gillette in Foxborough. Tomato, tomahto.

Doug Pederson and his big-dicked backup quarterback went up against this same Pats team just last season, and they scored 41 damn points.

It was a brilliant gameplan from Belichick and Flores that deserves to go in the HOF. However, it was aided by some ineptitude by Goff and stubbornness by McVay. Surely, Belichick hedged that would happen, which is why he went to such great lengths to neutralize Gurley, Cooks, and Woods. But it wasn’t like he stopped

Thank you for not sounding like a fanboy, Ray.

just a guy hanging with his bud!

Should I be legitimately concerned that Kyrie is really going to the leave the Celtics — who, at worst, even without an AD trade, are set to be Finals contenders for the next 5 years — will leave for New York, just because... it’s New York?? Is the idea of playing with KD worth that much? It seems like the Knicks are

SOMEBODY POST THE GIF

Didn’t even see the original. No harm, no foul.

Do you think he’d leave after (presumably) getting close to a title with Kyrie that disgruntled season so he could go play with a 36-year-old LeBron and other pieces off the scrap heap in a tougher conference? Asking seriously, not being smarmy. Is living in LA worth that much?

I would rather get fucked by AD’s unibrow than hope Magic Johnson’s illiterate ass and the fucking Lakers engineer another superstar to move to LA

full disclosure: i worked in media, live in nyc, and got by on a salary around $40k for a few years before leaving the business. only way i would’ve gotten to live in the city proper is with roommates, which is fine in your 20s and sad anytime beyond that. the cheap places are all rat-infested shit. the rents go up
