Why does everyone think Hillary Clinton runs her own IT? I’d seriously like to know. Does she not have enough work to do so she sets up servers on the side? Is it a relaxing hobby? Or maybe she just signs off on shit her IT people suggest like most people in her position would do.
Some helpful hints before you post that #notallmen comment!
Full disclosure, I regard myself as a moderate leftist, with strong Social Justice views. My ideal system is a Social Democracy. Now, I’m in the camp that believes the current impeachment process in Brazil is a farce, a poorly disguised coup d’etat from a consortium comprised of the old corrupt politicians, our…
I’m glad it wasn’t patronizing! You’ve easily got a C2.1 (European Common Framework) in written English; however, based on the limited information I have, I think it’s probably a C2.2 (my firm’s human resources department roped me into doing English tests, even though I’m a lawyer and had no training in that before…
Not patronizing at all, and your words meant a lot to me because, although doing well in life nowadays, I’ve came from a poor ubringing and could never formally study English. I self-taught myself through my childhood interest in comics and movies. Two years ago I reached a moment of great personal pride, getting a…
Brazilian here. Although the article is factually correct, I think it would be useful to expand the information a bit, in order to get more context. Since I already sort of did that with my comment in the article about the Italian woman burnt alive by an ex-boyfriend, here it goes:
Hi Dan—
Bernie has basically been attacking Hillary’s character and calling her corrupt without any actual evidence to back it up.
But really the super delegates aren’t set in stone until the convention and no one can deny that even though Hillary got more votes, millions of people were deprived of their right to vote simply for being independents.
3 million independents were also disenfranchised in New York alone and unable to vote.
Oh, stop. Nobody was disenfranchised. Bernie didn’t have to run as a democrat. He wasn’t a democrat until this last year. He wanted to take advantage of the party organization and the party structure already in place. Which, fine.
“a scary percentage are talking about just not voting because some of her positions are the opposite of their own values.”
My beef is that the Bernie side seems to think because they’re louder, they’re in charge. They celebrate victories that go their way and then stomp around about how unfair the votes that didn’t come to them are. Now they want to lead the conversation about the general election? They lost.
It’s certainly bad insofar as the media is perpetuating the idea that the primary is competitive, when Bernie is actually in the same boat as Ted Cruz at this point. The end result is that supporters are propped up with expectations of victory, and instead end up shellacked by the heavily-predicted double-digit loss…
Because clicks!!!
How is this either a “major upset” or at all “unexpected”? Clinton didn’t contest Indiana, didn’t spend a cent on ads or any time there while Bernie was pouring in millions, even in the past few days her surrogates clearly said they didn’t really expect to win it, polls or no.
Those parties are just a live version of Clue which is a fun board game.
Sorry if this is graphic but they DO sell baby parts. And not just any baby parts.....
