Something I just realized after finishing this episode: Jimmy is always at his most vengeful when people attempt to hold themselves accountable. Note how his true rage at Howard started when Howard confessed that he felt responsible for Chuck’s death. When Kim comes in to sign the divorce settlement, his performance

This is the worst advice I’ve ever heard. People who order drinks in bars regularly aren’t generally specifying the type of glass or talking about ABV, and if I ever hear anyone order their margarita “topless” I will be both amused and revolted.

I get that this interview was specifically about Deliverance and Robocop, but I’d love to see if he has any thoughts on playing Captain Jellico. Probably not much, since it was just a quick two-episode one-off, but I always thought that was one of the best examples of a bit character having a large impact on an

Did anyone else hope that Danny was going to take an overdose of pills in the bathroom or was that just me?

It’s pretty clear what’s going to happen. Danny and Ed are gonna get stuck in Hab1 because of the Marsquake. Danny is going to have to go cold turkey and Ed’s injuries are going to be more severe than they

Thank you! I came here because I thought this episode was a disaster on so many levels, which you explained perfectly, and they called it an A-? I mean, you give someone “one last chance” and they immediately talk back to you, and you don’t send them to the brig immediately? I’m fine suspending disbelief, but that was

Any episode where Stevens kids get more than 20 seconds between them in total automatically starts at B-.

It was goofy when the President was talking to her husband and goes something like, “how dare you make decisions for me and my life.” Yes, madam President, how can someone make decisions for someone else’s life? What a weird notion. I’m not sure if that was meant to be ironic, but it was definitely oblivious.

I have to agree, this was borderline zany and daft. The politics stuff kind of works but the astronaut stuff with Danny and now his brother is so dumb/dull.

I’m not sure we watched the same episode. This was at best a D; easily the worst of the season, and one of the worst of the series.

I would watch the hell out of a Paloma spinoff with Ana de Armas.

“you can travel billions of years in emptiness”

“We observe that no intelligent beings from outer space are now present on Earth. It is suggested that this fact can best be explained by the hypothesis that there are no other advanced civilizations in our galaxy.”

Didn’t Danny get grounded by NASA for falling off the wagon and getting arrested? I’m pretty sure he joined Helios because he had no other option.

dannys storyline is the soap opera we dont need. or want. it seems to drag everything down, and im not sure the actor can pull it off. there is absolutely no subtlety to the performance. it was best handled in the pool chat, when discussing being the star of your own movie. “dont say the graduate!”

Danny’s plot line and motives in this season are terrible. I hate it, it’s awful, and I wish they’d stop it. I’m not saying there aren’t people that act like that in real life but, there aren’t people that act like that in real life. Well, maybe supervillains. Maybe he’s gonna become a Mars supervillain.

I’ve loved Rhea Seehorn’s performance for years, I don’t know why anyone would consider the heart of the show to be anything but the lead actress.

Adam Scott and Patricia Arquette were good, but the performances I really like in Severance were Britt Lower and Trammel Tillman

I’m guessing the lingering views of the Mars-94 nuclear engine assembly that Sylvie was recording will also be part of Margo’s undoing.

The Danny storyline remains as terrible as the rest of the show is fantastic.

So here’s my theory on the identities.  It’s a little unclear if the unnamed actress has won any of the three she’s been nommed for. But if we assume she hasn’t won, and if we eliminate those who are deceased, we are left with the following possibles

Joan Allen
Diane Ladd
Angela Landsbury
Piper Laurie
Laura Linney
Michelle
