Preach. I strictly would play casual public games on both Fortnite and Overwatch. Loved the concepts and game design. But then e-Pros would come thru in droves and ruin ANY chance I had at having fun. I mean, they are talented, dont get me wrong, but I dont have the LITERAL WEEKS to play games and “get gud” anymore.

I’m at least shocked that Chinese players defended Japanese developers over their own.

Strange how a simple “thanks” or “good job” is seen as a “bonus” these days.

You mean as opposed to the devs that got bonuses to the tune of being able to buy Tesla/Jaguars, also for doing their jobs?

The sound quality when they rip the audio from the movies is pretty terrible

Do nothing with the IP until it fades in to niche-blivion.

This exactly. I know every card in my deck and every card in the set and know if my deck is capable of beating something or not. If I’m at 20 life, but you’ve wiped the board, have more cards in hand, and drop a Teferi, I’m not going stick around so you can stroke your epeen. It is pointless.

I like to think that the director and producers went to the artists to tell them that they had to change the design, only for all of them to look at them with eyes of disdain that screamed “we fucking told you!”

This would certainly explain why Game of Thronesspawned an entire cottage industry while it would be remarkable if you’ve ever heard a human person talk about You or Sex Education out loud, but who can say? Not me, because I don’t and can’t know if Netflix is telling the truth—and not Netflix, because their numbers

All my favorite spielbergs are oldies - Jurassic Park, Jaws, Saving Private Ryan.

The most recent thing that actually stood out to me was Bridge of Spies.

Bridge of spies wasn’t that long ago. He was also nominated for best picture last year for The Post.

Yeach, it’s a real drag there are studios throwing money at exciting filmmakers and not at all interfering artistically. It was way better when interesting filmmakers could only make a movie if a studio gutted it so much it no longer resembled their movie

Based upon Ready Player One and The BFG he is gunning to never win an oscar again

I don’t have a huge problem with Epic pulling down the occasional exclusive. But in this case, it’s extremely shitty to do it only two weeks prior to launch. I was intending to use Steam credit for the purchase and now I’m hosed.

Correction: Scads of cash is what could happen if The Master Chief Collection were ever brought to PC.

Corporate execs are not known for making smart decisions. It’s a fallacy that people at the top got there through merit. Not in our system.

“Hey, guys, you know that massive source of ad revenue we have? Burn that shit to the ground.”

We all figured that’s what happened. There has been talk on Reddit about it.
