But if its a system of tags, they are either true/false or a/b (male/female, red/blue, etc). you can’t have something that is both unless you program something more in-depth, which sounds like scope creep to me.

It wouldn’t surprise me if there are SERIOUS financial considerations to take into account too- If the new game is too dark, what happens when target drops EVERYTHING because they won’t risk the bad publicity?
