I’m pretty sure Liz Warren can do anything Bernie can do and she’s 8 years younger to boot.

Aww sweetie no...

The Catholic Church doesn’t own Notre Dame. The French Government does. There’s no way to insure that. Notre Dame is not just a Catholic Church, it’s not just a French tourist attraction. It’s a work of art, and art has historically been supported by the privately wealthy.

I wish more of Bernie’s fans would take a serious look at Warren. She is just as progressive, has actual plans on how she’d get shit done, and isn’t a cranky old pain in the ass. Ah well...

If only that lucrative tourist site revenue and paid taxes to Help feed the poor. Your right, rebuilding makes no sense.

I respect the hell out of folks who change their damn minds and stick up for that shift. There’s nothing laudable about saying the same thing and thinking the same way for half a damn century (cough-Bernie-cough). Change is natural and shows a willingness to listen and open ones mind.

Warren/Buttigieg would absolutely be a dream!

I’m so here for Warren 2020. So many of our country’s ills are tied to the increasing power and control by corporations - I think Warren is best-suited to address the incredible inequality running rampant in our system. I have tremendous respect for someone who was raised with certain beliefs but has grown and changed

I respect anybody who grew up buried in the Just World Fallacy and who manages to walk away. Thinking you’re better/smarter/a harder worker than people who are suffering is a helluva drug. See: my entire family. (The only just bankruptcies are our bankruptcies! Other people are lazy and entitled! We just had bad luck!)

Maybe parents who have to deal with her influence more regularly have a different, frustrated take, but in a world where girls are sexualized younger and younger, I’m kind of okay with this 16 year old girl loving bows, tacky clothes, and generally running around being dorky, excited, and 16. Even if it is her BRAND

Not sure why everyone wants to knock this girl. She seems like she markets herself to kids in a non-sexual way. I’m not even sure what a 16 year old is supposed to look like these days. Covered in makeup with her boobs pushed up? Not every girl is into stuff like that. Why shame her for liking rainbows, glitter and

Why the hate? Her fans are all much younger, like my 9 and 7 year old daughters. This is a completely appropriate look for a 16 year old. Why does she have to go the route of looking like a 25 year old sex kitten? Nothing wrong with loving rainbows at any age. Maybe it’s over the top, that is her brand and I have

She makes kids happy. It’s whatever. Just let her live and destroy her hairline if she wants to while we brace ourselves for her Miley Cyrus rebellion phase.

Obama appears for less than 5 minutes. Funny thing, it’s not ABOUT him.

Saw the play and it’s awesome. It’s so funny and Laurie Metcalf is fire. Note: It’s only about the 2008 election and not the 2016 election.

When I was serving (in the 80s), 15 percent was standard. Today, I tip 20 percent. It feels too high, but I believe servers when they say their base pay hasn’t kept up with the cost of living.

No one in London tips but my ignorant tourist American ass.

No. I remember when I was first old enough to go out to eat without my parents, my parents told me to tip 15%. 20% was considered what you left for standout excellent service. Now 20% is the standard.

As someone who regularly tips 20% because I want to, I think it’s stupid to say that everyone should be tipping 20%. 15% used to be the standard, and one of the benefits of tipping a percentage is that tips naturally rise with inflation. Increasing the % of a tip every few years makes no sense when dealing with coast

no. 20% is an extremely generous tip. Call me a fucking jerk all you want. Tipping is stupid and sexist, and we should be pushing for a change that sees servers paid a fair wage and doesn’t put customers in that awkward situation of tipping. IT DOES NOT CREATE BETTER SERVICE. And you know what? The 2% they’re shorted
