I’ve been watching Netflix’s Avatar-like Voltron series the last few days and it really has me wanting Netflix to get the Avatar IP . It’s weird that Nickelodeon hasn’t been trying to sell it since they realized at the end of Korra that Avatar is too mature for their channel.

In the new comic series, Korra and Asami tell all their friends they’re dating, going so far as to invite Korra’s parents to dinner to let them know they’re “together.” There are also several pages discussing queerness in the Avatar world’s history and culture.

They are an actual literal couple. With kissing and everything.

It is canon. Turf Wars is the official continuation of the show.

Except Spotify is compelling because it also has an offline mode. I can still use it when I’m flying or don’t want to use up my data.
