How I Met Your Mother. If you haven't seen it and want to watch it, watch all the way until he meets her, then stop immediately.

Oh God. Hearing that distilled down like that really reinforces how awful that finale was. How did the cast not say anything about the total character assassination of half of them during one episode?

Neither could I, but that's the level of paranoia that Mad Men puts me in.

I'm literally constantly expecting something horrible and completely out of left field to happen all the time. It's the only show that does this to me. Take tonight for example. I thought Roger might have a heart attack and die. I thought Don might have a random, totally out of the blue gay threesome. And literally

Yeah, I agree. I think a good substitute on the show would be Abraham. He bites it at around the same time in the comics, and it serves a similar purpose (getting us to hate Negan and the Saviors). Plus he's a well liked character so it would be a hard death for the audience, but he's not indispensible.

Two quick points. The insides of the trucks were lined with mattresses, which I thought was a really smart design detail on the part of the show. Also, I didn't really catch this, but somebody mentioned that Rick actually shoved his gun into the walker's head and then fired.

Handlen says the same thing every week. He admits that he fundamentally doesn't like the central conceit of the show, which makes me wonder why the AV Club has him reviewing it. And now the show is legitimately making changes from being the completely nihilistic gore-fest he portrays it as, and he complains. I don't

Yeah. That's kind of my problem with his reviews. For me, judging on how a show lives up to its premise and potential, this was easily an A-. His reviews always sound a lot more negative than the grade would suggest, because he has to devote three paragraphs analyzing the core concept of the show instead of the

Exactly. Eko isn't a sucker like Locke.

It's not the Saviors. If it's anyhting from the comic, it's the Scavengers.

Does anyone else picture Saul making his anonymous call using his sex robot voice changer?

Lapidus is love. Lapidus is life.

Haha I've kinda done the same thing. The Walking Dead is good at action, suspense, and visual storytelling. It's always had decent to good acting and great direction, but dialogue will never be its strength. I think part of that comes from the source material, but regardless I've decided just to taake the show for

A lot of people are speculating that we'll see negan in the extended finale, but i don't think that's right. Story-wise, it would make more sense for the scavengers to be the next antagonists, possibly renamed the wolves for the show. It would fit with the comic chronology better. I honestly think negan is next mid

Hamlet: the walking dead season 2 edition

I don't think she is. The actress who plays Sasha is though. But yeah, my point was that appreciate that Lincoln did it for the show, because the rest of the cast really didn't. Overall he strikes me as a very unselfish performer. The quality of the show comes before making him look pretty or sympathetic.

Ah. Gotcha :)

I still personally think he's been the best of the three on pretty much all levels.

I think it's something close to 550 days since the outbreak, which makes it 18 months or so

Has anyone else thought about the circumstances in which Deanna asks Rick to be their constable. When she first said that she was waiting to ask him, I wondered why she would wait other than for random TV plot reasons. But I actually think it's much more than that. She waits to ask him until she sees him handle a
