Gimple has generally been so much better at subtly weaving thematic arcs into the season long plots. Season 1 didn't have much of one (maybe learning that the world was going to stay this way for the foreseeable future?), Season 2 was about Rick learning that he couldn't be the good guy anymore, but it was so unsubtle

I do appreciate how Andrew Lincoln has lost muscle mass since the beginning of the show. Look at Rick in the Pilot vs this episode. He's probably lost at least 15lbs. And all of his chest hair.

Very true. Especially in that Georgia heat. IIRC, Andrew Lincoln said that they only have one pair of boots for him, which he's worn in every episode, so the real life ones are probably a little rank too.

Yeah, how durable are those cowboy boots?

That's funny. I'm wearing my Gap raw denim right now.

Has anyone thought about the fact that Rick has been wearing those black jeans every day for at least 18 months? Maybe he's a raw denim enthusiast, but I don't care how nice those were, they should have blowouts everywhere. Just an observation, not a real complaint.

Andrew Lincoln generally goes mostly unappreciated for his work on this show. It saddens me.

Well I don't know what Shakespeare has to do with this.

That was Eric spying on them. I'm pretty sure anyway.

Plus Deanna's husband's name is Reg, and I believe Douglas' wife in the comics was named Regina IIRC. And Nicholas is a character too.

Is it back in all it's biblical glory, though? Or more like season 3? The details matter!

I think Kirkman has said that TWD must take place in an alternate universe where the concept of Romero-style zombies never entered the mainstream culture, so people are just completely ignorant of the term and any of the rules of a zombie apocalypse.

Pretty sure they meant Matthew McConaughey.

Everyone knows that Laura Roslin is president after the apocalypse.

Around 1.5-2 years. That's according to the wiki.

Haha, I know. The first thing I thought when he was opening the door for Jessie was, "Wait, didn't you used to have chest hair?" I think my man crush on Andrew Lincoln is going too far. On another note, I actually kinda miss the almighty beard.

I was just thinking about that thematic arc earlier! Great minds and all…

It's actully a daggone meatball, which somehow makes it better

"Look, don't slink your head in the dumps. Ya gotta raise your head in the sunshine wh-where people walk, you know? Because that's what the whole point of the- when the- cuz if you can lead 'em to water but you can't make a sound. Right?"
Sage advice from Winston Bishop

On rewatch, I noticed that Glenn accelerates and says that he does this because he didn't want to brake and have the camper run into them. He also mentions that they can clear a path so the others can get away. Then once they stop, he asks Rick if he can see the camper. When he says no, this is taken as good news. It
