A jackass that thinks he can somehow singlehandedly “superior” himself up a perfect utopia without any workers, or even logistics. He is a superior man, and simply asserts his will unto the very fabric of creation. Also he doesn’t exist.

I think instead of a “death tax”, coming back to life should involve a mini-game. The first Prey gave me the idea, and I think it was well executed.

Glory, self respect, and if your job actually provides value to the world, then, um, more of that? Aside from the studies that disprove your hypothesis, there’s the simple matter that more things motivate people than filling their coffers.

Oh, right, the name change most people don’t even know about and which even people like us that do know about just ignore. It’s a convenient way to distance themselves from being responsible for what “Google” does though, isn’t it?

Well, if nothing else it’s another motivator removed for those silver tongued overly ambitious psychopaths that tend to rise to the top of these companies and destroy any sense of ethics it may have once had once they get there. (When was the last time anyone mentioned Google’s “Don’t be Evil” slogan again? I’m pretty

It is in fact the samest game around. Samer than the first one, it’s exactly itself.

The Max doesn’t have analog input, it’s still fully digital, which is is unfortunate but necessary since none of the NES games were designed with analog input in mind. That circle around the edge is nice, but isn’t anywhere close to just as good as a proper d-pad. It’s awkward and clunky, and my thumb needs a lot of

The NES Max absolutely sucks for platformers. D-pads outperform it every time, and slapping this analog nubbin on there doesn’t really change that.

They really are ugly aren’t they?

The last time my Toys R Us used the ticket exchange around here was in the 80's. Frankly I think it’s a much better idea for game stores concerned with security (cough) than opening the game case up and taking the game out to store behind the counter (cough cough).

I remember the video game isles seeming gigantic as a kid. Back then they had a single empty box and behind it were a bunch of tickets you brought to a door up front to exchange for a game they kept safe in the back room. That’s how it went down when I got my copy of Megaman 3 from an aisle labelled “World of

Any chance they’ll be making that preorder exclusive DLC available to everyone? I want a new hat, for my baby skeletons!

It can have Miis, but no Miiverse stage. I weep for our loss. Bring Miiverse to Switch!

You do if it’s.... SMAAAAASH! Don’t get me wrong, I would love if they were making a brand new one too, but I would be satisfied with a DX version of 4 as well.

The joke is, drugs exist.

Children react. Good for them! :) Me, I just thought the animation looked neat. Still waiting for real details on the game but I’m sure that’ll be soon. My biggest question is if this is a totally new game with overhauled mechanics, or a refinement of 4? 4 was pretty nicely done, so I would be happy with that.

Heck the cartoon show, the live action bits during the cartoon show, and even the games leaned into it hard. Pipes are magical methods of transport, to the point where Super Mario 3D World’s “pipe fairies” only make any sort of poetic sense if Mario and Luigi are supposed to be plumbers. The underwater sections, to

Now there’s an interesting point. They weren’t “born” they were made in a cartoonish cloud machine and delivered by stork, so how do you pick older and younger there? Maybe it’s whichever one popped out of the conveyer belt first? Maybe the stork lost one along the way and had to “find” a replacement nearby?

The PSP remake of FFIV is a master class in “doing it right”. As much as I love the enhancements to the gameplay and story in the DS remake, those N64 level 3d graphics just don’t age nearly as well as the PSP remaster has, hence why it keeps coming up in discussions like this.

I could never quite put my finger on it, but something about those character portraits in that version of FF6 doesn’t look right either. It just looks like it’s trying to be CG without being CG. I feel like a flatter look is better, and would prefer they directly use the Amano artwork instead (color corrected to show
