I’d disagree on it capturing the look. Graphically it looks way too... solid? Like you would expect more cel-shading and at least an attempt to recreate the art of the television series. Just based on those clips the game looks cheap and bland. Better than previous outings? Perhaps. But what you would want from a…
One good “HOOAHHHHHH” deserves another! HOOAHHHHHH
!!!!!!
There’s an episode of the show Review* (where the main character reviews “life itself,” usually destroying his own life in the process) about making a sex tape. After failing to convince his wife to participate, he decides to buy a sex doll, and says this in a narrated voiceover playing over footage of him struggling…
Just Cause 3 was beautiful and had a lot of good additions but I don’t think it compares to the scale and greatness of Just Cause 2. JC2 was damn near perfect and felt so much more complete. JC3 Felt small and underdeveloped by comparison.
This is missing Danny’s own “Ain’t It Funny” perhaps the most skronking, stomping, wild track he’s made. I’d love to go flying between skyscrapers in a fighter jet to that tune!
Yeah, I’m ribbing a multi-billion-dollar publisher for being misleading in its PR. If you don’t like that, there are plenty of more PR-friendly reporters and websites out there to follow!
I have to really give Felix credit, he’s made me take a second look at this game, and I’ve been hooked for most of this year! I know he’s a controversial guy, but he’s really made an impact on my life, and I bet he’ll continue to do so in the future, when a racist fan of his will scream his name before shooting to…
I keep giving you exactly what you deserve and obviously crave because you keep coming back for more.
Those simple questions must be too hard for you.
You are a twat.
My partner ended up watching me play through all of Death Stranding and he was super into it so now we’re going to play the Metal Gear Solid games together.
Agreed, only someone who doesn’t watch Resistance would lump it in to support that argument. Even my most die hard SW fan friends have given up on it.
Yeah. It really is so much more than just delivering, even if delivering is the only literal mission type you have. It’s got a little action with the MULEs, a little stealth with the BTs, puzzle aspects, crafting/building/resource management. And yes, a walking simulator aspect of it (very much so in the first 8…
From a game play perspective, it’s a definite, strong contender. I’ve never felt so compelled to continually move through hazardous areas (I don’t want to spoil anything for anyone, but there’s an area that is infested with BTs between about three different delivery points—and there’s no good way around it right now)…
You forgot the part where they are monsters that treat their employees like garbage through grinding them into the ground with draconian development cycles.... otherwise, spot on!
I’m curious to see how this one turns out. After so many iterations on the adventures of Kiryu & Co., it’ll be interesting to see how a turn-based Yakuza title with a different star plays out.
Honestly, this is probably the first one that I’ll be sitting out on the day of its Stateside release; it’s not that it looks…
