WA has hideous vehicle taxes, and worse if you live in the boondoggle area of the RTA. I’m all for public transit, but they have a capricious, mismanaged, 56 billion dollar white elephant they hit people in the Seattle metro area with. Think 1% of the value of the car, with explicitly broken depreciation tables.
