Channel 5 actually had an aviation reporter back then! Too expensive to keep on staff nowadays so these stories fall either to the meterologist or the traffic reporter.

That was great. Haven’t seen one in ages, made me recall flying in the 80's-early 90's when I flew back and forth to college. I forgot how much smoke those engines put out, and their distinctive whine brought back memories.
