Why is gmail not a client? All it's killer features (keyboard shortcuts, labs, etc) are client features. You can use it as a consolidated inbox for all your email, so why shouldn't it be a functioning client for other providers?

Cloudmagic my friend. If you're on firefox or chrome, cloudmagic is the answer. It's everything gmail search should be. Google should have bought it and integrated it into gmail years ago.
