Disagree, Tyrion was a very wise and worldly individual. He understood people and from experiences with his family knew how bad they could be. This was not the same person who gave advice to a young Jon Snow and told him to take his status as a bastard and use it as his armor.

With as many as there were to begin with I assusumed some of them survived. Out of the ones that didn’t commit suicide out of shame from runing would have cut their braids.

It’s not building the ballista’s that has me skeptical. It’s how they installed the guidance systems, managed to shoot a flying dragon out of the air from that height, on a boat, around the corner of a rock when in the previous season it only seemed to annoy the dragons.

Ali Wong? That is disappointing, I heard her comedy show once. Was a less funny version of Margaret Cho, lots of pandering and crude jokes in place of ones that make you laugh. Take into consideration that I don’t like Cho very much.

Disappointing and rushed. With a few fan service moments tossed in and some decent scenes, mostly in the first 20 minutes. The rest of it was rushed and filled with plot holes that even I can’t forgive. This is why we needed more episodes this season than six. It will give them more room to maneuver and make the plot

I agree. Some zaniness works, but you can’t have it at the cost of plot and character development. They need to find that balance between the absurd and good TV.  Something closer to the previous seasons would be better, and a more defined and deadly villain like the Legion of Doom.

She’s young, they can bounce back from anything, being thrown off roofs, run over by cars, being raised from the dead.  Might need to focus on her posture from now on, back can’t be in too great of a condition.

Not quite, this is Marvel. You don’t go back in the same timeline you go back and create divergent timelines. This goes back to old X-Men comics when people from a Sentinel ruled existence tried to change the past, and found their timeline was unchanged. They had just created a different timeline. When they brought

Agreed, little Mormont was just a brat that shouted commands and refused to leave battle which I doubt anyone would allow.  Rarely are kids that age actively ruling their land, there is a proxy until they come of age.

They didn’t spend as much money on it and they are saving the big battle for later. They were using the darkness to save on their budget, which is pretty tight as it is. If it happens in the dark they can use it as a narrative device, confusion of battle, and they don’t have to film Dothraki fighting zombies on

I thought it was a reasonably good episode, but a bit of a disappointing end to the White Walkers. They fight the evil army, learn nothing of their past, stab the head bad guy, every major character survives. RR Martin definitely had little influence on this one. It felt more RA Salvatore than Martin.

I actually like Zari this season more than in previous seasons because all she did was act as the teams Daria. Making cynical observations and little quips along the way. Her character is fleshing out and feels a lot more three dimensional.

That was a interesting idea for meta exploration of a relationship, that they used on the dullest and most unlikely couple in DC. LOT does a lot with non standard relationship types, they just aren’t very well written. I have trouble seeing Sara Lance with someone who was genetically created to be, basically,

Charlie being into Zari, do shapeshifters have an actual gender or just whatever they feel like at the time?

Where the heck are the Dothraki? The most boisterous, chaotic, difficult to control army in history and they haven’t been seen since last season. I figured we’d get some scenes at least showing how much they hated the cold.  They certainly aren’t someone you leave behind unsupervised as they rape and pillage the

She seems to be knee deep in mercenaries, pirates, and unspeakable old alchemists that can raise the dead. So I find her choice of Bronn peculiar since he isn’t a sure shot and has a history with the two previous marks. If there was more leverage than, I will give you money, it would seem more plausible. But based off

This is a tough one to predict. Show Bronn is a salt of the earth man whose kept a good natured attitude despite his hard life. Book Bronn was basically high functioning sociopath that got involved because he saw opportunity. Once he got what he wanted he was very unhelpful to any of the main characters and more of a

I blame the internet, with it’s easily accessible information stating how the Ferengi were supposed to replace the Klingons. Do I hold it against them, no. The Ferengi became some of my favorite aliens in the later series, Quark in particular. But I wonder what the team was smoking to think it was a good idea to have

I disagree with how it holds up. I think they created great characters that were hampered with mediocre to bad writing. It was trying too hard to be pc and ended up being preachy and dampening their best ideas. As well as having too few long term story arcs. Maybe they didn’t have the FX, but shows with less budget

The actor has a pretty gruff voice, he may not have been on board with the singing and dancing. In the Buffy musical Willow only had one line because Allison Hannigan has no musical or vocal background (or raw talent apparently) and didn’t want to mumble through a song. She would have really looked bad compared to
