In the comics he considered himself a con-artist first. He used magic as little as possible and was known for conning demons and mystical creatures. In video media, he tends to use a lot more spells and tricks because they look cool. But he is still at heart an egoistical douche who will not only bum money for smokes

They have to have to include time with Nate. The girl she is with is as dull as dishwater and her relationship with a swashbuckling ninja is a hard sell.. The relationship she has with Nate is a lot more fun.

It is pretty bad.

I’d say hilarious in what they tried to accomplish and what they actually did. What they tried to imitate, a fun 90's show about sisterhood and family. What they made, a narrative mess about three un-charismatic sisters who fight evil men while tossing out buzz words.

Another fairly weak episode, the Doctors tries to save a misunderstood monster while the Trump stand in stumbles a few steps behind the entire episode. Trump seriously? Weren’t there any easier targets ? Weak writing.

The best scene is where she starts choking and they realize that none of them knows the Heimlich maneuver, they relied too much on magic. Many say that wizards could get a lot more done in Harry Potter if they just upgraded to cell phones instead of using owls.

Can’t move too slowly, that isn’t the type of show we want to see, we want to see criminals act like criminals. When SOA started it was obvious who the main characters were on the show and they all had a great deal of charisma. Here I frequently get their names mixed up and the ones that seem to have the most plot

I agree, your definitely not a writer.

Only the first few seasons of SOA was really good. It got slowly but steadily worse as time went on.

Fridging is just another word for plot device. She had more backstory than most red shirts and the show has killed others in her position. They wanted Bullseye to go over the edge, and having the girl he made into a moral compass die through manipulation of a supposed ally was the most efficient way.

Julie had nothing to offer the plot beyond backstory. She was a red shirt intended to up the stakes for the main characters.  No different than other red shirts in the show.

But he’s a much better actor than Leo.  He came across as a soap star, sad for how important he was supposed to be.

Another luke-warm episode with hammed up politics. It would have been better to go with a smaller story with similar mechanics and plot but injecting yourself into a major event like this is a bit cheesy if you are playing it straight. With Let’s Kill Hitler it worked because it wasn’t about Hitler. Instead we are savi

Felt like they handled the politics in a rather clumsy fashion as well. I get what they are trying to do, but they aren’t doing it very well. You don’t let an idea of philosophy drive a story, it will strangle it in the end. You let the story tell itself and find an organic way to add the subplot weaving it in.

There are plenty of excuses, lack of need, lack of talent, lack of interested applicants, lack of applicants capable of handling projects in question .......

If there was proof they denied writers of color for no reason then it is racism.  If not then it’s just a matter of circumstance.

Well those are female horror directors, I don’t think any of them are up to handling a major movie, or are all that good.

Sign of bad writing.  Your supposed to show not tell.

Hurt egos?  Not seeing that, some people like it, some don’t.

No that’s background information and personality quirks, like saying they were Pisces or Taurus but really like long walks on the beach.
