Excellent reply, and movie reference, my friend. Stay away from the cans!

Yet another reason NJ is the worst state in the USA.

Selling my 1990 Coupe Quattro, when I was 17, back in 2003 or 2004. I was selling it to the father of a kid younger than me, and his dad was coming to look at it/buy it for him.

No they can't, because a 3 wheeled motorcycle is not a motorcycle, and is in fact, lame. The only exception in my eyes is a side car or a true motorcycle with balancing assisted adaptation for handicapped individuals who may not be able to balance on their own. Anything else is just lame.

I thought they already reported the A3 as being affected by this situation with the initial report?

I hate people. So so so much. Especially those who consider this type of thing normal/OK.

As a diesel OBD calibration engineer, I can say that this issue, as far as the mechanics are concerned, would not stop me from buying one. I believe the fix will be relatively simple since they have already proven that the emissions can be met. But the final impact to performance and economy will dictate whether I buy

OK, that makes more sense.

I don't understand why people tolerate it. Sure, it may only be $75, but you go somewhere else, save $75, and still never do business with that dealer ever again. You still ended up making a deal with them, so why not just leave when they try to push unnecessary options instead of buying the car and complaining later?

Sometimes it’s as simple as pulling the ABS fuse, sometimes it needs to be activated with an OEM specific tool. All depends on the vehicle, not necessarily the manufacturer preferences.
