Yeah, honestly I think I’d reject it too, and for the same reason. My personal rule is that all easter eggs should be “part of” the universe. I remember the huge stink people gave at the alien DLC for Fallout 3. Half the fans kept going on and on about how those aliens in the first two fallout games were “just easter…
Wait but that’s just a comic book power, so you would need the power to get the power and- oh dear I’ve just gone crosseyed.
Worldwide manhunt for- a comic book pirate...
Priorities...
It’s “cover” is all the lore released indicating their nature up to this point. Their facial expressions all being a uniform “angry rage face” goes against that. Please note I’m not even asking for anything, but if I WERE to ask for something it would be for options, not for ALL their faces to be made gentle flower…
Nothing wrong with censoring one’s self.
I was always confused as to why the tauren originally had these angry fierce expressions. They’re herbivores dedicated to balance and peace, they SHOULD look kinder. In fact when WOW first came out I picked the gentlest looking tauren face I could. When the model updates came along, that face got a snarly look to it…
The first few examples didn’t seem like much more than art changes to me at first but when the Eviscerate one came up, yeah that’s pretty direct. Then again, the card never really depicted a straight up real evisceration to begin with so it’s not like it was ever accurate.
The succubus one actually makes MORE sense…
I don’t get this blue haired weirdo. At all. She’s- she’s not even real, it’s just a synthesizer, and she’s basically the mascot for it. It’s like if the Trix Rabbit was a celebrity. What am I missing?
It looks like pretty expensive costuming to me. I honestly don’t see the problem.
Panic is useful if you’re fighting off a wild animal and you have no familiarity with the situation. That adrenaline fueled flailing is more likely to lead to your survival than if you did nothing.
There’s absolutely no situation in modern life beyond that where panic is actually useful.
The best tip I can give players having trouble is to look as far ahead as you can manage, then try to draw the shortest mental “line” you can along the turns you see. I’m by no means a pro, but that mental trick is something I learned back in the days of Super Mario Kart and it makes all the difference in the world,…
I am defeated, but as long as nostalgia exists within the heart of man, I shall retuuuuuurrrn! *Explodes into smoke in the sun’s dawning light.*
I tend to follow the story of whoever I picked as my main, letting the other characters serve as background “happenstance”, but I see what you mean.
As for the attack system, practice will get the combo timing down. It’s not nearly as annoying as getting in those combos in Sword of Mana at least.
By the way, I played…
Yep, most of those guides were made some time ago and there’s some good ones in there. I’m merely lamenting, nothing more.
PLEASE don’t recommend people hang onto old routers like the WRT54G. They’re extremely vulnerable to online attacks and we need to be pushing people to more modern secure routers whenever possible. Modern ones can also handle higher throughput and have other good features for prioritizing certain traffic like…
There has been a big push in modern games to make the gameplay “reveal” itself to the user through play rather than bore users with tutorials. I admire the effort, but when they site how old games never held your hand, well, that’s not really true. All those old games had manuals listing everything from the basic…
Rip the ROM, apply fan patches, and run it through BSNES. It’s not ideal, but it works. Just make sure you actually buy the game before doing all that, let’s reward Squeenix for doing something I had given up hope they would do.
As for me I completely disagree. I found the game’s character development and combat far more well designed, the choices made had a greater impact (in that there actually are choices), all the various systems implemented were pretty impressive for their time, and frankly ones the timing of combos is worked out it’s…
