Glad we agree.

There is a back dash though... and you move plenty fast. Though I’ve only really delved into the updated version(the one featured), I played the OG release for a handful of minutes and was nonplussed. But now I quite like it.

I personally enjoyed it. After playing it’s initial release and being pretty lukewarm on the gameplay, the refinements made have turned this pretty turd into a much more enjoyable experience. Helps that I’m a metal-head who likes well done pixel art.

You headbang after defeating a boss. It’s a damn sight better than it’s initial release too.

Slain is far from easy, platforming-wise. It aesthetic is very heavy metal, so if you’re not a fan I can’t recommend it.

BRING BACK DEMOS!

Just make sure they don’t accidently include the whole game, or a back door INTO the whole game. Cause gamers be tricksy.

I’ve enough games to play to last me the rest of my life I think. I’m not slagging off on anyone who DOES buy Early Access. Just nothing is worth jumping in without a lot of goodwill behind it first. And I don’t play MOBAs, or MMOs, or competitive FPSs, so the burgeoning early online communities swarming around a game

Relevance? I assume you mean bustling online community. I’m not a multiplayer person, so the need to feed while the trough is full has no bearance on my personal modus operandi.

I actually think it might be a younger crowd. Back in my day you read reviews on shiny pieces of paper a month before a game came out, and had access to demos. I’m speaking mainly of consoles titles, but I rarely bought a Ps1 game before trying a demo. And going farther back we had access to rentals at almost every

S’all good. I got a Sentey(cheap ass but ok) 7.1 set that is a pain in arse for older titles.

I guess my biggest shield against the shadier parts of Steam is that I’m an informed consumer. I will never purchase an early access game, and I’ve only attempted to help Greenlight games that I’ve researched. But maybe I’m an outlier. I see all this rage at Steam for not keeping their bottoms well-wiped, but can’t

I’m 35 years old, the odds of me getting into car culture now are pretty slim. Though I did manage to choke my way through the first 2 Gran Turismo games, hoping to find some fun. I didn’t then, probably wouldn’t now.

KI doesn’t require Gold on PC at all.

But Forza Horizon 2 isn’t on PC...

Man I’ve been itching for a racer recently. Might just have to grab this, as I’m not afraid of the MS store. KI has been nothing but positive for me. Plus it’s kinda neat running downstairs to sit on the couch and use my roommate’s XB1 to play my fully unlocked KI.

Is that a man wearing lady shoes? Awfully progressive of Worx.

I looked on the artist’s page and it turns out I was right, per my edit under the image.

That’d be a little tricky considering how much up and down(Y axis) precision you’re required to use during gameplay.

That last one almost has to be Lord Raptor.
