I concur. This version of the game looks the way I remembered it. I fired up the old version and it still looks passable, but no where near as vibrant as the remaster. Though they screwed up the shadow on the iconic baby buggy scene.

You have to completely mute any microphones and set your audio to only output stereo. I’m not talking from experience or anything...

That said, dealing with that after every Windows update is a pain, so I appreciate the my free new version. Though it lost something in the translation.

Already played and beat it twice buddy. Liked it a lot. And all the other ones before it, plus DLC. I enjoyed having to think on my feet regarding powers management. Is it the best playing of the series? No. But Cole was such a fuckin’ wiener, and I was glad for the change in main character.
