In California, the HOV stickers for single riders with a Hybrid or EV are only good for 3 years and cannot be renewed. My lease is only good for 3 years. So every 3 years I get a new EV, with better battery life, with a fresh sticker and that sticker saves me 20+ minutes each way on my commute.
