I'm sorta laughing at your "good for an American series" comment… is that supposed to be an insult? Because last time I checked America was still the entertainment capitol of the world. So yeah, Elementary is "good for an American series". But if you think that in anyway makes it inferior, you have another thing…

I love both Sherlock and Elementary, but Sherlock sometimes feels like it's trying /too hard/. It's a lot of flashiness and glamour and it's wholly entertaining but I don't think I'm feeling what they trying to get me to feel… It's not the shining "best thing on TV" that everyone is always claiming it is.
