Yeah, I’m sure almost every one off the line is dropping parts on the road behind it because of build quality concerns, since we know for a fact nothing happened involving any kind of accidents with the one you saw.

Not all alphanumeric naming strategies are the same.

Not another stupid letter number car.
This trend is bad and id doesn’t make for memorable cars (unless you are BMW or Audi).
If Optima isn’t working call it something else, any made up name will do. The KIA Bookavi is a better name than the KIA K5.  The KIA Panther would also be a fine name for this car.

Indian’s got their dealer and ownership experience on fucking point too. Dealer in my city is downtown near the bar district in an old restored building, exposed steel and brick and all. The showroom is full of old and custom bikes with some new stuff spread out. When a craft brewery set up shop next door, they

The Harley growth in the 90s through the 08 recession was a boomer midlife crisis / retirement gift fad. They expanded to quick to cash in and then the demand dropped. Their customer base is either too old or already has a garage queen Harley and no need to buy another.

Precisely this. Indian makes better bikes, their staff is friendlier, and they don’t have the stigma.

You can’t trade on exclusivity when craigslist is full  of the exact same thing, garage kept and low mileage to boot.

My father went from a 740i to the first generation Genesis sedan so it’s not as uncommon as you would think. He was the last person I’d thought would have done this yet there he was pulling up in one and drove it for 200k miles.

Almost as generic as your comment.

Jalops: all cars look this same! this is bad!

Probably not, I think their market is those who are entering the luxury space rather than those who are already there.

Oh go soak your head

If you don’t think 0-200 in 7 seconds is exciting, then you’ve got brain worms.

I hate new things too, brother. That's why I still drive a horse.

Bullshit. Our power grid can more than handle a rapid growth in EV adoption, and anyone telling you otherwise is lying.

The old yoostabee gearheads didn’t like the transition to fuel injection either, but I don’t see them bitching about it now that there are cars running tens in the quarter mile from the factory.

You

How about ‘motorhead’ instead?

SALAD?!??!?

With some bbQ sauce and mashed potatoes?

I must admit I was not expecting the whole “Disassemble and hide behind the bushes when I clicked on the article.” You know that the asshole who came up with that was very prejudice against cars. I mean that is not even a subtle attempt.

On the other end of the FS spectrum...
