Sorry for the late response, and I am also sorry if my longish post gave the impression that Italian cuisine is all about pasta, pizza and tiramisu (sigh). Everything you wrote is correct-I've been many times to Italy and have many Italian friends and colleagues. Being of Greek origin I can sy the same thing about…
Correct, but certainly the poor eat much worse than those better off which goes back to point 1.
Oh boy-this is going to cause controversy. Look there are several factors that have come into play over say the last 50 year and especially the last 20 or so that have not occured at such a fast rate in human history.
Thank you sir!!
Do post it! I actually love greens myself.
Easily one of the most informative posts I've read on Kotaku. I will copy the url and point people to it when I explain why freemium gaming sucks!
Too bad Amazon is not available in as many places as itunes - certainly not in my country of residence.
Actually Germany declared war on the US first, and they actually didn't need to (read the actual text of the Tripartite Pact)...FDR got lucky. Please review your history.
Funny, I saw the show (well a marathon) visiting my sister and her family over Xmas. It's one of the few shows my ten-year old niece, who is mad about ballet, is allowed to watch. Even I - straight male thought it a good show - ok I did kind of like Sutton Foster and was happy to see one of the young dancers date a…
Well said, this can also be said of the attitude of many western feminists vis-à-vis Islamic cultures for example.
Nutty for Americans maybe - and Canadians as well. Speaking as a Canadian of Southern European extraction myself this took getting used to moving here in Europe. In Eastern Europe it is even more prevalent, unlike the peck on the cheek done in France say. They see North Americans as a bit closed and uptight in this…
Cool, I'll admit my bigest time-wasters are a) News and b) Games. I could give up a) but I have some great ios games I would not want to give up. Funny as I consider myself a PC gamer I play more games on my iphone lately. I could never give up the ipod function though.
I don't get the hate for iTunes, first of all you don't need it to set up, back up and purchase apps anymore. As for music-well the on killer feature that will keep me tethered to iTunes are smartplaylists. I worked a lot setting them up and have never seen another player that has them. BTW I run Windows 7 and do not…
Wow yet another person in this dicussion to have the point fly over their heads-as if android/blacberry/feature phones users aren't as stuck in the techno-matrix as iphone users. Hell all of us typing here are just as dependent on technology even if we don't have smartphones.
Well I agree with some of these but gotta ask do itunes smart playlists work with the music app replacements suggested? Since that's the main reason I use it.
Wow you want to ditch the iphone for one feature that will likely improve in the future and for which there are many good (and free) alternatives? I'm also sure google will make an ios app for their maps, they already have google earth for example.
I don't get it, listing to music on my iphone uses the least battery-well assuming it's locally stored and not streaming. What are you people doing to kill the battery on music?
