I just was talking to a gf about this- I might be paranoid, but I thought I would rather know what's going on in his mind than not since he knows where I live. He's sent a couple "I'm in your area today " texts.

I couldn't even watch the whole thing, it was too disturbing to me. I'm glad they are being publicly shamed.

I am friends with his ex wife, so she told me how ridiculous and embarrassing it was to be around him while he obviously pretended to not remember things, then would slip up and accidentally remember other things.

I actually know someone that tried this. Not to get out of marriage, but just disappeared for a few months avoiding life, child support, etc. Resurfaced pretending to have amnesia.
