I do know of some districts that require it. But it seems you only do it once, and then you're all good. So you just have to be clean for the hiring process. I'm not even sure if mine does now? I should find out.

This bizarre backlash in recent years as if we are bloated Union fat cats is hilarious. Teachers? I thought it was pretty well accepted that this was a low paying, thankless job.
