I’d take De Blasio over Status Quo Beto anyday.

Lazy.
This site used to be about progressivism and socialism. Now it’s just about helping #TheResistance win their Twitter battles and supporting the corporate status quo.
Your analogy doesn’t work.
The government workers not being paid don’t see it the way you do. They aren’t ideologues. They are family men and women that are heading into rough times. They just want pay, whether that be through wall funding or Trump caving.
The Global Corporatacracy wants cheaper labor in the form of 3rd world immigrants that undercut domestic wages. Didn’t see this in 2016. See it now.
Acknowledging reality is not stubbornly litigating.
Hillary lost. At some point you will just have to deal with that. Bernie would have won. And relitigating her loss through whataboutisms doesn’t get us anywhere. She sucked. NAFTA sucked. And whether you like it or not Bernie’s core message was pro middle class America.
Congress could give Trump what he wants.
Do you really believe we are dumb enough to think that this can be entirely - 100% - Trump’s fault?
He renegotiated NAFTA which was a horrible deal for the middle class and cost millions of domestic jobs. That’s money out of Mexico’s pocket and into ours. I’d prefer he took that money from the pocket’s of billionaires but the effect with respect to revenue is the same. God dammit we are not dumb. This line is dumb.
Whatever. He at least sounded presidential.
No, I’m good. I’ll just vote for Beto. All of Obama’s former staffers are saying he’s just like Bernie. Good enough for me.
You are the one taking issue with facts [polling data], but I thought I was clear that your point was hollow.
Couldn’t care less. The more this thing drags on the more it looks like they’re desperate. Trump sucks for the most part but he’s definitely doing exactly what he said he would do which is something. Obama didn’t keep any promises. Hillary wouldn’t have either. Bernie would have kept all his promises, similar to…
You nitpicked through the article and this was your criticism? My God this Beto dork may win after all.
He might as well be Hillary. No thanks.
Right, it’s a business decision. Hence my first and second points. They minimize risk by making movies that have an easily-projected return. Goes like this:
“I like to escape reality by watching a movie that caters to my social and political beliefs.”
