Out of principle, I don’t give attention to YouTubers, but it sounds like I agree with their stance.

I stopped watching Family Guy years (decades? ago), just kinda drifted. But I liked that it was still on. I hold no ill will and have very fond memories of that time period after it was canceled and was airing on Adult Swim.

I find writers insufferable, and people in Hollywood insufferable, but this guy manages to make himself the villain.

Put him on screen with Han Solo. Pretend (like many of us do) that the sequel trilogy didn’t happen.

I’m looking forward to seeing it, I will probably enjoy my time, but at the end of the day, I’m going to watch in on D+, using a service I already pay for, and already accounted for in their financials.

I enjoyed the show the most of all the MCU shows, but it felt very small for a universe/time spanning series.

Just kind of screams to me that the writer or director wanted to tell their own story no encumbered by what’s been established in the comics. Which at that point, just don’t make a Marvel movie.

You don’t have to stick to Carol’s villains, but pick something from Cosmic. Annihilus, Mikaboshi (Chaos War), Korvac, The Stranger, Living Monolith, Blastaar, any of Galactus’ like 10+ heralds, Black Swan, Deathbird, Star (would need an origin change), Vox.

It’s the not worst, but it was the low point early and for a while, so it got lodged into that slot and it’s hard to move once it’s settled in. Other MCU movies have been worst, but didn’t have first-mover advantage.
