Reasons why I like BOA:
1) I travel a lot both domestically and internationally a lot for work. BOA has branches all over the country, so it’s easy for me to pop over to an ATM whether I’m in DC, LA, or Chicago. Plus, BOA has deals with Barclay’s and Deutche Bank (among others) so I can withdraw money with no fees in

It’s been my experience that most people who don’t see the value in Prime also are unaware of about half of the features and perks. I’ve been a Prime member for a couple of years now and I am STILL finding perks and freebies I didn’t know about like free books and magazines, etc. Free shipping is great and I order a

Maybe not you, personally.

I’m kind of in the same boat - one thing about Ally though: a coworker of mine has Ally, lost her debit card, got reissued a new one, and they told her until her card arrived she had no way to retrieve money from the bank. Downside of not being brick-and-mortar...so I guess don’t have them as your ONLY bank. For

Probably an acquisition. We ended up at BoA for a while several years ago because they acquired Fleet Bank, where my wife had an account.

I’ve stayed with Wells because that’s where my mortgage is, and it’s really hard to move a mortgage. And I save something like a half point on my mortgage by paying it out of a Wells Fargo checking account.

At least for me, it’s because I have a bunch of auto-payments set up, and redoing them would be a pain. And I don’t have that much money sitting around in a savings account, so the difference in interest isn’t that strong a motivator.

Why not store them all electronically and indefinitely? Most of these items are available for download and I then store them on the cloud. I don’t keep paper copies of anything anymore.

Tourists should not be driving cars in Manhattan...

haha this is funny, I remember the parking hustle years ago at a coastal community in Socal. Half the people on the same street had a motorcycle they either wheel out or rode out to save a spot for the night.

Day 1 of an apartment fire - shit gets burned up and you lose your home.

“A guy with only a few thousand dollars in an emergency fund almost certainly does not have enough set aside to cover expenses should he get fired and take eight months to find a new job...or have to decamp from his apartment because of a fire,” says Schultz.

“Unless you wanna look like you’re in a k-pop band, don’t use make-up.”

See, a lot of those just don’t seem like necessary expenses to me. Why spend 2k on a venue if you only have 15 people? The purpose of a venue is to have a nice looking space for a large group. If you don’t have a large group, a much smaller space should be just fine. I’ve been to a lovely living room wedding.

And hopefully we all have better things to do with our time than sit around rolling $81 in change.

There are few exceptions to this, but I believe it to be because of the on-ramps since they kinda put you right on the freeway with little to no distance to merge with traffic.

Montana used to have “reasonable & prudent” speed limits on their highways back in the 90's, but that was overturned because they were deemed to be too vague.

Is there any stretch of road in the US that has no officially posted Speed Limit?I’ve read there was one in Wyoming/Montana(not sure) but they changed it.

My exact thought. That said, is there a good way to pack a dress shirt?

Well, as was mentioned in the beginning of the article, it’s designed to make sure you aren’t disturbing the neighbors. Some jobs might be primarily working on a laptop and answering the phone. But if you are also having clients visit, there’s the issue of parking, and strange people possibly knocking on the wrong door
