That used to be the case, at least for several of the titles. Some were linked together (like the two NES games, or Ocarina with Majora’s Mask) and others were not (like Link to the Past & Link’s Awakening, similar thematically but not explicitly hooked together plot-wise).

Random Thought: Tonight’s episode spent a good chunk of time getting the viewer used to the idea that we were seeing Bill Potts regardless of if we were looking at Pearl Mackie or a Cyberman. It also set up the idea that a strong enough will could shape perception against even the harshest reality.

The Mother games, the Secret of Mana games, and the Soul Blazer trilogy. Each have games never released here in the US, and I wouldn’t hesitate to buy a Switch or other Nintendo console if we got some anthologies of them released.

That whole soundtrack is pretty good. Everything from U2, to Seal to Mazzy Starr to PJ Harvey. Oh yeah, and do not forget Iggy Pop, The Flaming Lips and Nick Cave. I wore the hell out of that CD back in the mid-90s.

This is pretty much the best possible result. Howard is one of the most experienced directors currently living and has the chops to be plonked down in the middle of a film and make something of it. He also has the ability to navigate the studio structure while producing a good final result.

My prediction is that the Doctor becomes the Master (either this Master or Missy, similar to how the Doctor took the face of the Roman at Vesuvius. It is a perfect way to cover the hiring, keep it secret.
