The new one is pretty great! Drew is fucking wrong. It’s ok, I still love him, but he’s fucking wrong. This is the danger of the old man contrarian/hot-take game.

Yeah, it seems weird to grab a band who doesn’t claim to be a rock band and then write a blog about them not being a rock band. If he wants to bitch about bands that don’t rock hard enough for him, he needs to put on a jean-jacket vest and stand by his camaro in a 7-eleven parking lot.
They have a huge fanbase, are critically acclaimed, and have their first album out in a long time.
Their third album was surprisingly good, and I think it's underrated. I would never call them rock. It's Indy pop, and for that, they are pretty good at it.
One of the (not the only) ways to look at the reason separate some men’s and women’s sports exist is that there are 2 statistically different populations out there, and that lumping them together would be inherently unfair (or uninteresting, if you prefer) to one population.
The only way to meet that standard would be to take medication that would lower her testosterone levels to meet their arbitrary guidelines as to what is considered normal. Do they have testosterone standards for the men’s races as well?
Plus as a Yankees fan I’m tired of seeing all of our best young players wearing interior lineman numbers
The team clarified that next to Theismann’s name is not actually the retired number 7, just a picture of his tibia.
Lol, yeah, that “mid-first rounder” jab had me scratching my head.
You put Joe Theismann, who was a Super Bowl MVP, and the first quarterback to win a Super Bowl for this franchise, where he’s gotta take a call from a mid-first round pick asking for his number.
I’m guessing because Joe Theismann doesn’t speak for all Caucasians, like Tony does?
This guy put the atic in fanatic. First off, Theismann didn’t have to take the call; he chose to. Second, he gave his blessing. The last I checked, if the person who actually wore the number is ok with it then why should you care?
The height of that bar is statistically indistinguishable from ground level.
Ah, but he left himself a loophole: flatly deny ever having done the first thing. Even when someone plays you a video of yourself doing Thing A, claim that you never did Thing A, because Thing Negative A is clearly the correct answer and you would never have done anything else.
“I would assume a huge supporter of women’s athletics and against the typical smug level of sexism and stupidity that someone like Trump represents.”
I am proud that the UVA basketball team declined the invitation to visit the WH, especially given POTUS’ ridiculous comments about Charlottesville during the white supremacist rally and ensuing violence and literal murder. What an absolute chud.
Kim Mulkey must be conflicted, she’s just the kind of horrible evangelical phony that makes up a significant part of Trump’s base support. She also was a terrific basketball player in the mid 80's and I would assume a huge supporter of women’s athletics and against the typical smug level of sexism and stupidity that…
I wonder how nervous he was that Omarosa would just show up and record a bunch of conversations but he wouldn’t be able to pick her out of the crowd.
It’s Baylor, so probably the school’s shitty administration.
Kim Mulkey’s grimace at the sight of a fast food spread for the Baylor Women’s Basketball team’s visit to the White House is worth a thousand words.
