You think that’s weird and implausible, wait til you hear the name of the game that adds that bit of lore (Kingdom Hearts II.8: 0.2 Birth By Sleep: A Fragmentary Passage)

The Disney/Final Fantasy crossover stuff is the only thing that makes this series interesting. Yeah, it’s lame as all hell, but it’s also got a weird kind of hyperactive fanfiction energy you don’t really find elsewhere (outside of fanfiction, I guess), while the rest of it just kinda feels like baseline Nomura

Let’s not get our hopes up, this is Nomura still. His goal seems to be to quietly sieve out all the Disney and Squeenix stuff and replace it with a vast army of samey shonen good and bad guys from all over a muddled timeline.  He won’t stop until people are like “Didn’t Cloud and Uncle Scrooge used to be in these

Even Star Trek: Picard doesn’t get covered, and like it or not you can’t tell me there’s nothing to discuss about that show. There’s probably more to discuss if you don’t like it.

The Academy Of Motion Pictures Arts And Sciences —> The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences

I enjoyed it a lot personally. Maybe it was gratitious but I thought it was nice that Jesse got a proper ending after being a bit short-changed at the end of Breaking Bad (given Walt got a full resolution to his story and Saul / Mike got the spin-off). And I’d say it was closer to great than bad personally, Aaron Paul

Without Jesse or Walter, I think it’s pretty much

Now playing

My favorite bit of BB fan service is when they finally explained why the roof pizza wasn’t sliced.

I know it says it’s not a BB-related show, but allow me to propose The Further Adventures of Badger and Skinny Pete, Best Hitmen West of the Mississippi

I wish somebody from AVClub would review Fear The Walking Dead when it starts in a couple weeks.

It also colors his speech’s “I hope the Academy allows me back” as more of a dare than a plea.

That is depressing. The old saying, “where you sit is where you stand...”

It also proves that it was nothing but crocodile tears for himself during his speech. If he felt actual remorse, he’d have left.

That pretty much follows with the rest of the reports in the trades from the showrunners. They feared the horrible optics of having to have security and LAPD remove Smith and how that could’ve escalated. Now, with this report that Smith refused to leave that’s even more understandable. His refusal to leave when asked

The second best actor will get the Oscar

I’ve never quite understood the fascination with Halo’s universe. The writing and storytelling were good, but the world of Halo is so drab and boring. It’s very generic sci-fi. Compared to Bungie’s other works like Destiny, it’s like night and day.

Naah! It’s not that. I know many episodes of early South Park where I vehemently disagreed with an issue and still laughed my ass off. Being from the Balkans, I very much disagreed with their position that ‘all crime is hate’ and hate crimes shouldn’t be prosecuted as a special category. I disagreed with their stance

Garrison Trump was hilarious.

It made the whole episode worth it when Clyde (I think) said his dad was brave and lost all his money.
