It’s shameful because they have the name of the President who ran on xenophobia and against illegal immigration on their business, and they were taking advantage of immigrants the whole time. They’re almost certainly not doing this because they care about human rights. It’s probably just because someone started to

Okay look, the point is that Muslims have been in the US a while and been valuable members of it, including being involved in many major US conflicts. which possibly includes the revolutionary war.

Not really a huge stretch, considering a Muslim nation was the first nation to recognize the US. Acting like Islam has no place in the US is extremely dumb considering Muslims have been here and involved in military conflicts since the foundation.

I feel like you basically discovered what a text adventure is.

Muslims have been in this country since before it was created, fuck you. There’s strong evidence that at least some Muslims in the Revolutionary Army, and they didn’t fight for freedom so you can shit all over their religion.

Imagine being this blind and centric to your own country.

If you don’t think Puerto Rico is a part of the US you have another thing coming.

Semi-related: I had someone try to tell me Chick-fil-A is pro-LGBT now because company policies say they don’t discriminate nowadays. I’m like “oh great they got tired of losing money to protests and court trials but still have all the people in their company who made anti-LGBT statements a few years back, they just

I read the Guardian article which elaborates more. It’s interesting because they have areas that focus on open and supportive LGBT stuff, and material on instances where LGBT stuff was handled negatively like WoW and LGBT guilds originally.

Well, the one promise Trump has kept is essentially installing a drain in the swamp. I don’t think he meant that it would be his swamp though, but Ogre gotta do what they gotta do

I always thought Technic Lego looks better the more closely they get to industrial level equipment. The high end cranes, loggers, or digging things are super well done. This is probably due to how Technic already has an industrial feel, and when they try to approximate a sleek sporty car they suffer from how it looks.

We had a bomb threat at the hospital once. We mostly just kept doing what we were doing. It’s kinda hard to just leave ICU patients with no care.

Too bad it’s randomly not on PC like 4 was

To be completely honest, I find it way more efficient to buy collectors edition stuff later at a resale store. Unless it’s a really good item, it tends to overwhelmingly end up being cheaper, or at the least I can buy the particular bits of the collectors content I actually like

I have to be honest, one thing EA and Origin have always been really good at for me has been quality customer service. The people usually seem to have some level of competency and some level of caring about my situations, and generally resolve problems for me very fast

Yes well I’d love to see you explain how I’m going to win the presidency and reshape the supreme court so that they don’t fuck over everything by being blindly Republican before their position. Oh wait I can’t I was arbitrarily born in the wrong country.

I feel like fear mongering about foreigners and the rising fear in white Christians of not being the major US power demographic is what’s going to turn kids into Nazis, not games.

Personally my best guess is that in a system in which there are two parties, and they need 50% majority votes to get anything done, they have a major incentive to ensure they’re voted for. In countries with multi-party networks that get elected proportionally, it’s both much harder and less incentivized to ensure the

People in power tend to benefit from keeping the people they know aren’t likely to vote for them from voting, or making it so more people who will vote for them are doing it.

It’s funny how many of these issues could be solved if the government actually wanted people to vote more. The government could automatically register people and get them secure forms of ID to vote with, but that would be counterproductive in a system where both major parties essentially benefit from preventing
