I like Chrissy but her surname being Beppo makes me mad she’s not also a supermonkey.

I agree.  I know everyone raves about crossovers, but for as many people who geek out over them, there seem to be just as much that are annoyed because the only watch the Flash and do not want to be bothered figuring out what some other characters beef or plot is.

Jordan’s actor is actually only 16. Jonathan’s is 19 though.

if so, I approve

They don’t read 14 but they also don’t read 27 which is a step in the right direction for the CW.

My assumption, as someone with an alcoholic father, was that it was no more than him being an alcoholic. Having your usually repressed father get all gushy and affectionate when he’s drunk is nauseating, especially to a teen. I really felt that scene.

Juliet was 14. Maybe you do get over break-ups quickly, but are horribly miserable and dramatic until you do. Also, he’s on the bench on the football team where he was the star quarterback in Metropolis. That’s a huge blow to the ego right there. Plus he’s clearly been eating it and putting on a show for the family

yep, the most unrealistic thing on this show is not that superman exists, it is those two are supposed to be 14..c’mon man.  If you were going to age them, and they did, at least make it realistic and make them 17 or 18. They are probably even older than that IRL but 14?

The bigger question is how is this Lex even a thing if the multiverse was collapsed* in Crisis?

i can’t help shake the feeling that they really wanted to cast Kate Micucci, but couldn’t so they went and found her taller doppelganger.

I am sorry to say that based on all the evidence, and I have watched and liked every episode of this show, this iteration of Superman seems to have divorced itself from the “arrowverse” and I am not sure anything that occurred on Supergirl or the crossovers are “cannon” anymore. I know they have not said so

Jon and Jordan are another entry into the CWVerse’s collection of Good Siblings (along with Alex and Kara, Anissa and Jen, and to a lesser degree Ollie and Thea), but man, nothing about them reads fourteen to me. I get why the show would have them be fourteen — it gives you more seasons of them at home, but it really

As far as Lois knowing their Luthor is a skunk, I’m assuming Clark got J’onn to re-open her memories, too. That’s a pretty big secret to keep from your wife, even on the CW.

In the comics, Luthor and Lois were married on Earth-3, where the heroes were villains called the Crime Syndicate, and Lex was the only thing close to a hero in that world. (I think it’s back now, after DC’s Metal events.) Sounds like they might be playing with that idea, with Supes in his world becoming the tyrant

I think, mostly, with the Mr. World reveal that most everyone has now picked up on, one would wonder how the hell the other trickster god wasn’t aware of it all.

Wow I was cynical as hell when this season started.  But goddamn did it somehow win me over.  I'm stunned but glad.

I hope they get another season. I never read the book, but I want to see where it goes. Off scene stuff aside, they have a great cast and this season sure got back to being engaging. Neil’s still on board with it...

After Season 2 it made no sense that Starz renewed this show for two seasons (and, at least in this case, a longer season) but as most others here have said, the show does seem to have a sense of direction and what it’s doing (even if I do miss that the world of both the Old World and New Gods seems so much smaller

Based on this season and the preview for next week, I get that vibe, too. As much of an improvement as this season has been, I welcome it ending after just one more season. Dragging the narrative out too much more would feel super extra.

It’s got little to no fan service and the show centers on a brother and sister and their relationship is not incestuous. That alone makes it unique in terms of Shonen anime nowadays.
