I’m starting to believe that Odin is working with Mr. World. They both seem to want - and very much need - conflict and worship in order to thrive. Why not come together to start a war that will never end? It’s in both of their interests.

I fully agree.  I get what Lucas is trying to do.  A space Oprah version of Charles Foster Kanes story, mixed with a political backdrop about the rise of space nazis, made in the same era as the Bush administration.  I really get it.  But the man cannot write to save his life, its so painfully clear that the real

I’ve said it before and it’s been said by others but The Prequels were a good story told terribly and The Sequels on the whole (I quite liked The Last Jedi.) were a bad story told really well.

There has been this sort of... life through rose tinted glasses look at the Prequels lately. Partially because of nostalgia. Partially because the new movies were somewhat disappointing. Likely because of all those damn memes. I’m sorry, no amount of time has made these movies any better. Revenge of the Sith has a few

COVID may have messed with this show more than any other DC show. All that work to fold it into the Arrowverse — literally, in the context of the programs — but, because it shoots in Georgia as opposed to Vancouver, it basically has to act as if nothing has changed after CRISIS.

The Markovia “war” plotline was really

Monica is clearly moved when Jimmy mentions Captain Marvel.

Basically this. It plays out like a revenge story but Ardyn’s goal isn’t really to be evil to be evil, in the vein of Kefka.

I liked Ardyn as a villain, and I think all the Kefka comparisons to him are somewhat disingenuous. Kefka has no motive except screwing everyone over because he’s insane. Ardyn isn’t insane, but his time stewing in his own thoughts has clearly left him with very little but his own dark thoughts.

He’s always a little mad.

Agree. Another long con.

For whatever reason, last time Laura went straight from dead to somebody menacingly (yet conveniently slowly) telling her she was going to end up in Afterlife XYZ. This time she goes to Purgatory.

I like that they have gone back to the framing stories of the gods’ arrivals, but I miss Mr. Ibis narrating them.

I don't like it, but this seems really likely.

I mean, I assume Julia does because we never see or hear about her mother, but I could be wrong.

They should definitely kill him off.

I’m so glad they kept Rachel Skarsten on. I don’t care if she plays Alice or alternate universe Alice or Queen Elizabeth, I just like having her around.

Ryan appears to enjoy repurposing vintage Canucks jerseys into blouses?

>Could do with less of that speechifying though, there are better ways to do that then “LET’S BRING THIS UP!!!!

I get that it’s not that exciting to pair her up with the rest of the Bat Team, but wouldn’t the alternative be to have the Bat Team keep looking for Kate? Or actively working against Ryan? I think the way they did it- confusion, sort of anger, then quick resolution and getting on board with it, was the best they
