I thought Happy being introduced now felt weird. The Leon story makes sense but his story could have been done without Happy. Or if you are going to bring him in then a couple episodes ago would make sense

Satchel Cannon died on a lonely road in Kansas. Long live Mike Milligan.
It was a very Fargo death. I knew he was a goner when he was the voice of reason earlier in the episode.
Okay I didn't see the trip and fall on a gun death. It was clearly set up to be Otis shoots him, but nope! Although they did set it up earlier when Gaetano trips in the streets so its not entirely without foreshadowing.
I would welcome regular reviews of Grey’s! This show is honestly my comfort food and I can’t get enough, it’s the only soap opera in prime time and I can’t thank them enough for it. Just tune out the logic part of your brain and enjoy the ride.
Rabbi was the only adult he trusted by that point, and I don’t think Satchel had pieced together how much Rabbi was using him at that point as a tradeable asset. I don’t think Rabbi had figured out what his plan was either, to be fair.
Why doesn’t Satchel call his family from the boarding house to pick him up instead of opting to become a drifter?
Favorite episode of the season. To me its how Satchel Cannon becomes Mike Milligan, hence the black and white to color. Also pretty sure that billboard is a nod to Mike Milligans speech about being the future. It was a quirky character study that was throughly entertaining.
I’d have guessed she wasn’t much more than a teenager, and Odis seemed to think she might be a minor when he asked how old she was.
eh, depends how much cocaine.
How old is Swanee supposed to be, aside from older than the hills, rivers, and trees?
Exactly! She barely made an impression on him at the hospital. Not how it would be if he had actually asked her to kill her father. Besides, why would you ask a nurse to kill a patient unless you knew she was into that sort of thing anyway.
I disagree. If he’d asked Oretta to off his dad he would have remembered who she was, and not been so befuddled when she popped into his car to jerk him off.
I think the criticism of the driving goal is fair, although I don’t agree. But it does seem that the lack of a legitimate voice for regular order in the discussion about belonging in America dampens the impact of the season.
I think it was more basic than reputation -- he didn’t want them getting away and coming for revenge. Which I’m sure is coming up now.
We read that scene differently. I thought it was clear what he was insinuating.
Too much of this season feels like a handful of different shows slammed into each other and just decided to roll with the chaos for a bit.
Does anyone even know that Father Fadda was murdered? They know he was shot accidentally by those kids and I think they assume that’s what killed him? They seem to have no interest in going after the kids for it, and they don’t know there was any more foul play, so that subplot dropped pretty quickly. As did Josto’s…
To answer Zack’s question (To a “hospital specializing in the treatment of poisons.” Honest question: is that a thing?), medical toxicology is a thing. A friend of mine who’s an ER doc did a fellowship in that. I assume back during this time period of Fargo, it was probably an extremely rare specialty so Dr. Harvard…
