Yeah, the only reason this got made was because they’d already spent money on it when the news came down. No way it gets a second season.

Yeah, it was basically cancelled as soon as Marvel Television was absorbed and eventually announced as a single season special or some shit. The lack of any Marvel branding is honestly funny in how far they took it.
If I had to guess, Milligan is going to be like Tom Reagan in Millers Crossing as the smart guy trying to play the angles between bigger fish without getting squashed.
I found I’m becoming fond of Rabbi Milligan. And—going on the likelihood of Satchel growing up to be Mike— I started thinking “Aw, I’m starting to see why he ends up taking his name, he’s a good man,” then reminding myself that “good” is not the word to describe Mike and that’s probably reason to expect Rabbi Milligan…
Admittedly, this is the one season where centering on a heroic cop, might not quite fit
I like this season because with supernatural shows that have reached this number of total episodes, I’m always annoyed when there are still core characters that don’t know about The Big Secret. I find exhausting to watch yet another instance of obliviousness while the characters who are in the know wink at each other.…
I admit, I didn’t see the Pete as the Serial Killer stuff coming until fairly late in the game, when they were both looking at the photos in the dark room in the previous episode. Something about the way that was filmed or written made me go “Wait a minute.” I had considered it at first, until they found Klumpsky. I…
That ending... never has a finale of Lucifer ever made me want to watch more Lucifer!!! Terrific.
Yes, those things are all useful. But the only thing unique to Lucifer out of all that is his mojo. (I hate that I’ve typed “mojo” as much as I have. But I’m leaning into it.)
The more I think about Dan, the more I remember what Amenadiel told him once...he’s the most human person he knows.
Yeeeeah, I understand selling a season, but I really wish the Michael of it all could have been kept under wraps. There’s another thing in this season that was apparently announced ahead of time (a lot of things were, so this could mean anything)... thankfully I missed that and was able to go in blind.
I’ve been doing a lot of rewatching lately, so my memories are kind of jumbled, but I believe Lucifer has even said (possibly in Season One?) he chose his accent because it’s the best one. I do know for certain though that Ellis decided not to do Lucifer with an American accent (as that was the plan at first, despite…
Did a little fist bump when it was revealed that Chloe immediately saw through the ruse. Michael’s affects make me wonder if Lucifer having the only “British” accent so far has to do with his rebellion/the mirror version thing. Is that his natural speaking voice, or is it something he forced himself to turn into his…
PoI would be the perfect comparison, probably. Like PoI, it definitely (well, mostly) gets its characters right away. Though I think the greatest issue with Lucifer’s first season is the major arc (once you hear the word “Palmetto,” you’ll never want to hear it again). The first season is definitely competent... just…
You are correct, as Maze is always dressed to fight (and win) in Mortal Kombat.
Yeah, it’s got good bones. And unlike the first season of the comparable Legends of Tomorrow, it’s not a slog to watch.
Hey, do you remember...uh, what’s his name? I think he shot lightning, or something...?
I’ve thought the season lost momentum towards the end, but the finale gave everyone a happy ending (Daisy even has a living boyfriend!) and really that’s all that I can ask for. You were a good show Agents of SHIELD, thanks.
Fair enough. I was wondering what happened with those two. I guess the duo are easier to be left alive since they’re both kinda nuts and don’t seem to care much about the ISA anyway. They can be recurring villains, while leaving Henry Sr. or Jordan alive would stretch the premise a bit, I feel like.
yeah, and Cindy won’t underestimate a bunch of teenagers next season.
